Two darlings of the Tea Party got in plenty of barbs at President Barack Obama, sitting Republicans and what they described as government over-regulation as they basked in adulation at TeaCon 2011, the first Midwestern Tea Party Convention, which drew about 1,000 people to Schaumburg this weekend.
Herman Cain, former Godfathers Pizza CEO and the only GOP presidential candidate to attend in person, won a TeaCon 2011 straw poll by a landslide Saturday evening.
His blunt comments including, Stupid people are ruining America were frequently interrupted with standing ovations at the Schaumburg Convention Center. U.S. Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) also received a heros welcome.
Cain said he would spend money to build up a strong U.S. defense; support Israel; push domestic oil drilling with an attitude adjustment for the EPA, and promote his 9-9-9 tax reform plan.
Saying I kinda like clinging to my guns and Bibles, and Im not going to let them go, Cain declared, this nation is weaker as a result of this administration.
Note tagline!
Once he becomes our President, I will be proud of my country.
We’ll all be MORE proud of our country.
BOR said it was wrong on his voting site. I don’t think so.
In Obama’s backyard, no less. WTG, Mr. Cain!
Watch the racist liberal media now. They are going to have fits over this. Call me Jeff Davis ehh.......
ping
Herman Cain has that fire-in-the-belly type of leadership that cannot be faked. A leader either has it, or he doesn’t. It is a gift.
Got a link?
Herman, you ROCK!
Kick the Marxist’s Arse all the way back to the ghetto!
I am absolutely, positively ecstatic about this. It gives me hope because Rush is right...and Sarah Palin said exactly the same thing about his winning the FLA straw poll. He has been the ONLY consistent Conservative in this race.
I haven’t been this inpsired by a candidate since I campaigned for Reagan.
I just got done reading the reviews on Amazon for Confidence Man. Very interesting. The dirty dealing and back stabbing in the WH is a minefield for someone with no experience in leadership. Obama is regarded as an idiot by his own appointees.
Far as I’m concerned Cain has extensive experience and so does Gingrich - both could stand up to the extraordinary egos and pressures at the WH. I suppose Romney could as well. We need a really tough as nails person to turn this around.
totally agree.....
But Mich-hell O-Blah, Blan might not. LOL
Good parody on Mich-hell!

Same here. And your tag line is a Winner!
Fear? He is aiming for Veep on a Romney/Cain ticket.
Might be true, but let’s watch them try. Believe me they are going to give it their best shot.
He is what this country needs. The real deal. He was amazing in Orlando.
