The Cain fringe hopes to ... make him a viable candidate, even though no-one without previous electoral success has ever won the nomination. Eisenhower. Hoover. Taft. Grant. Taylor. Washington.
Those not only won their party's nomination, but were all elected President despite never having previously been elected to public office.
There were probably others who'd never been elected to office and still won their party's nomination, but were not elected to the Presidency.

I think Jim R. spoke rather forcefully on that subject the other day.

Jokes are supposed to be funny, but some “JOKERS” are not funny, they just urinate people off.

I’m not sure that freedumb2003 really supports Cain either. I suspect he/she may have other motives.
Personally, I would like to see a bunch more people jump into the race. Give the people choices and then let the best candidate win.
Me? I’ll take Palin/Cain and have fun watching people try to figure out how to oppose a female/black ticket!

Watch it, I once did a play on words about freedumb2003’s FR name, and was severely chastised for it.

Dont forget we have decoder rings as well. Hey now....we're not supposed to talk about that in public, remember??? ;-)

Too late! Now all the newbies know about the secret decoder rings.
And we want to know when we're getting ours. The kitteh is -- as they say on FR -- out of the bag.

"Your analysis of Palins strategy is very good, and in my view, is just simple observation, reasoning, and deduction on your part."
Thanks. I'd like to think it's even close to good. But I wanted to respond and elaborate on what I see in Sarah Palin. And also mindful that I speak as a noob among the many outstanding voices on this site every day. IMHO:
Sarah Palin is Mrs. Smith gone to Washington. An ordinary citizen. She is one of US (The Great Unwashed), not one of THEM (The Inside The Beltway Professional Apparatchik). She is the Anti-Romney, the Anti-Perry, the Anti-McCain. And most importantly, the Anti-Obama. She is the restoration of sanity in the executive branch.
She is exactly what the Founders had in mind. A Citizen/Leader. She is part of the solution, not part of the problem.

Her hesitancy hurts Conservatives day by day. She should just say she wont run so that the small number of fools who still think she is playing Pan-dimensional chess can use their energy to back a real candidate (whomever that may be).Yesh. You're right.
Just look at Reagan. He pussyfooted around and didn't declare until mid-November and look what happened - oh wait...

Americans see that in her, and (among other reasons) it's why they will select her as their next president by a wide margin next year.
Let the naysayers neigh, if they like. She will be their president, too, and will do everything in her power to give them back the country that was left to them by their forebears.

the election cycle has passed her, no matter what her Tinkerbell-clapping supporters scream otherwise?Yes.
Ronald Reagan understood about that 'election cycle" window.
that's why he declared in mid-Nonmember - and we know how THAT worked out...oh, wait

although nowhere documented, I think the media REALLY damaged themselves with 70% of the electorate with the almost Jesus like persecution of Sarah.

Now all the newbies know about the secret decoder rings. And we want to know when we're getting ours. Not so fast, newbie! You gotta earn your ring!
You have to participate in at least ten Kittie Zot Gatherings, and have your hide ripped clean off by a sleeper troll at least once before you qualify.
How you doin' so far?

Yeh, I’m not sold on Herman Cain especially considering his gun views.

Very good point! Another reason I really hope she runs. She gives us so much ammunition against the media.

You may be right, because at the same time that they were crucifying Sarah in the media, they were lofting the most worthless con artist in our nation's history into the presidency.
It wouldn't even be believable, if we weren't living through it.
