Michael Steele: Rick Perry’s in-state tuition plan for illegal immigrants "very conservative"

Former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele told The Daily Caller that it was a “very conservative” decision for 2012 Republican presidential candidate Gov. Rick Perry of Texas to give in-state college tuition rates to illegal immigrant students.

“I think it is actually fairly conservative to look at, very conservative, to look at solving the problem in a way that empowers people, gives them opportunities to get out of harms way — fiscally or whatever — and to move the state forward,” he told TheDC during an interview in Washington on Friday.

Perhaps one of them big 5 ounce bottles of Channel Number 5 liberally doused over a steaming turd?

My limit for walking barechested in winter was reached one time in Omaha when it hit 30 below zero.

That's also 30 below zero Canadian!

Montana in many years has the "coldest winter" award for North America (as an inhabited region of course).

The illegal lawn workers in Illinois wear winter coats year round. They double glove in winter.

Just something I've observed there. DC is milder but they bundle up.

Some folks we know who immigrated from India decades ago turn their winter heat up to 80 and still wear punjabi trousers and fake leather bomber jackets IN THE HOUSE in Winter.

Some people never get used to the cold.

A fence is a vital necessity. If you have situations where 50 to 150 people in a group are crossing together, it's rather barbaric to rely entirely on threatening them with machineguns.

You put up a fence for their protection and your own delicate sensitivities.

You even put formal entry and exit points in it.

The fence is a necessary adjunct to control ~ just like on a farm.

The reason why the unemployment rate is 4.5 percent is becaude their unemployed go into the states. If Mexico repatriated everybody, it would be 25 percent or worse.

I agree with those here who say that you shouldn’t be supporting illegals. You shouldn’t, outside of what the feds say you have to.

When it comes down to it, the Mexico economic system needs to be fixed, that’s where the solution lies. If you fix that, the tide will largely stem on it’s own.

Are you assuming these illegals live in their car and never gas it up? You do know that even food stamps have sales tax added, right?

I don't care if they pay a lot of taxes. THEY DON'T belong here. They are invaders. Send their butts to whatever scheisshole they came from.

Then what are YOU gonna do about it? Who are you supporting for your congresscritter and senator? How actively? Not just with money, but with time? How many times have you written or gotten up petitions to your critter or senator?
There is gonna be a R president, barring a huge upset, so why aren’t you beating the streets to get the most conservative candidates into both houses to keep his or her feet to the fire? You know damned well the Dems will block deportation - they can’t afford not to.
Or is that the president’s job to deal with and you just pull a lever every four years and complain on a semi anonymous website the rest of the time?

Using the words, "empowers people", makes Steele sound like a community organizer. Has he been hanging out with Obama?

I was kind of hoping that the GOP had unloaded Steele.

Guess not.

God willing and the Creek don’t rise, the Tea Party will replace most of the GOP candidates up for election and we can permanently make the GOP as irrelevant as they seem to want to be.

When I need to tune my conservative compass I always rely on Michael Steele.

O, moi aussi! Michael Steele (waddaguy!) proves that Republican Moderates (no one too extreme like those Cain fans, now) can come up with a totally worthless, idiotic "Person of Color" just like our friends across the aisle. No racists we, nosirreee Bob!

I definitely think the next Chairman of the RNC should be Deval Patrick. He shares Michael Steele's political points of view, warm brown skin tones, imposing size, and is better looking ... you know, more like that reassuring character on the Uncle Ben's Box. Especially since Harry Belafonte is not available.

Eric Holder.(as Chair: RNC.)

I apologize for overlooking your splendid candidate, Pelham.

Not only is this Holder large, of a warm brown color reminiscent of Uncle Ben, and treacherously idiotic, but, and it's a big but, he even has a Thomas Dewey-type mustache of sorts, making him look almost prosecutorial. (I.E.,if you cross him or are slow with the baksheesh.)

Bu all means, vote me fast and furiously by proxy.
