This idiot must not have heard about filing deadlines. They start expiring at the end of October.
Echoing your surprise here. I'm not sure what sort of logic or calculus the author is using, if he allows that Palin could miss three or four state primary votes and STILL come out ahead.
I know she's got mega support across the country, but that much? I dunno.
I suppose anything's possible, but Sarah would have to have nerves of gold plated titanium, if she were to pull off that sort of miracle. Has any candidate ever skipped a few early states, then gone on to win their party's nomination?
You do know that the Nov 1st date is just some states don't you? If she wants to get her name on the ballot for all the state primaries the date would be November 1st she would have to announce by, but even in those early Nov 1st states she can still be eligible for as a write-In. Candidates do concede states all the times. Reagan did not announce until later in November.
Some states require teh canddiate to file, some require the delegates to file. Some of Palin’s delegates can file whether she’d declared or not. And her supporters can file for her to be on ballots whether she’s formally in the race or not.
Ain’t you heard all the wishin and hoping going on? They’ll just wish hard enough and the Primary filing deadlines will extend just for Sarah. RIGHT...
Damn if there isn’t more Hoping than at a nobama rally. Hope they change the filing deadline.....
I would vote for her in a minute, but she ain’t getting in.
You beat me to it. The filing deadline for the Florida primary is 31 October. If you are a serious candidate, you cannot afford not to come in first or second there.
