Perry: "I Don't Think You Have a Heart" If You Oppose In-State Tuition for Children of Illegal

Full title: Perry: "I Don't Think You Have a Heart" If You Oppose In-State Tuition for Children of Illegal Immigrants

Perry's response was forceful and personal. "I don't think you have a heart," Perry told his critics.

"If you say that we should not educate children who come into our state for no other reason than that they've been brought their through no fault of their own, I don't think you have a heart," Perry said. "We need to be educating these children because they will become a drag on our society. I think that's what Texans wanted to do. Out of 181 members of the Texas legislature when this issue came up [there were] only four dissenting votes. This was a state issue. Texas voted on it. And I still support it today."

Well I'm not Norm and was open to Perry...not now

Perry is just pandering to latinos like his nemesis the Bushes
So Palin better get off her ass or some second tier folk or we are saddled with another soft candidate like last time

Makes me sick....like vomit

Perry can't finish a sentence, let alone a border fence.

“So Palin better get off her ass or some second tier folk or we are saddled with another soft candidate like last time”

So true. It seems that God is clearing the way, via major gaffes such as Perry’s, for her to step in and shine. The “Latest Post” just above yours hints that Christie is considering entering the race now. People say he has charisma (I don’t see it personally), so he could get some good momentum. I’d rather see Sarah jump in NOW.

I'm more worried about how they vote and their considerably higher crime rates and illegitimacy etc
Africoid lite basically and I have yet to find a latino politician who is not sangre hispanica primero and American second...not one
Im tired of it....my ancestors came here legal, hoodwinked and battled Indians.....brought slaves...planted cotton...the old fashioned way like the founders....indeed some were...Hopkins.....

They made their own way....not as usurpers

“I did live in some hell hole controled by drug lords, it was in California. And I gave up a lot to move the hell out of there.”

Ditto for us. We did the CA-to-TN relo in 2010. It’s like a breath of fresh air to shop, see doctors, hire contractors, etc., with zero hint of “Espanol”. In CA, when DH had to take his dad with Alzheimer’s to the emergency room, they’d serve the sans-insurance Hispanics who arrived late, before his dad. The resulting “discussions” weren’t pretty.

You’d think the difference between CA and TN wouldn’t be remarkable, but they are remarkable. We say that “we live in America” again. We NEVER hear Spanish. Ever.

And they don’t want to work for a “better life”; they only want the freebies we offer while holed-up in their disgusting Mexico-in-America enclaves. Not only do they not make an effort to assimilate, they insist that you conform to THEIR way of life.

I can’t even believe Perry said what he said. How stupid is that? But I’m glad he did because it gave us vital information about him. It was the “ding ding ding” moment similar to Obama saying he wanted to “spread the wealth around”.

“I haven’t watched the debates, but I have Palin, Cain, and Bachmann (in that order) as my choices.”

That’s my list, too, in the same order. Santorum did come across well in this debate, too, and he’s a possibility. As for the ability to beat Obama, maybe Santorum would be better than Bachmann.

I truly believe that Sarah is waiting for the right time, that time to be determined by Somebody bigger than any of us. I believe she’ll do the right thing at the right time.

“If Perry is such a louse, why was he elected Governor of Texas?”

Well duh. He’s pro-Mexico. Even liked the idea of an insurance plan with Mexico and Texas together. He has no problem with illegal Mexican kids getting better deals on education than American children. How many Texans of Mexican descent do you figure vote in Texas?

I could while away the hours, conferrin’ with the flowers
Consultin’ with the rain.
And my head I’d be scratchin’ while
my thoughts were busy hatchin’
If I only had a brain.
I’d unravel every riddle for any individ’le,
In trouble or in pain.
With the thoughts you’ll be thinkin’
you could be another Lincoln
If you only had a brain.
Oh, I could tell you why The ocean’s near the shore.
I could think of things I never thunk before.
And then I’d sit, and think some more.
I would not be just a nothin’ my head all full of stuffin’
My heart all full of pain.
I would dance and be merry, life would be a ding-a-derry,
If I only had a brain.

The problem is not the immigration laws as much as it is the liberal welfare benefit laws. If there were strict limitations on welfare, the crime and illegitimacy problems would largely disappear and the non productive illegal aliens would either become productive or leave. We should deny all welfare to legal and illegal immigrants, have strict limitations on welfare for citizens, make it a class one felony to use anyone else’s social security number to obtain employment, deport all illegal aliens convicted of any crime and all legal immigrants convicted of any felony.... A few of these changes would start us back on the road to being the America we grew up in. But the problem is that there is no political will to make the necessary changes. So the America we grew up in no longer exists.

That's how I have them ranked as of now, subject to change in order. Romney, Huntsman and Paul aren't even on my list, that is not subject to change.

I really don’t get why so many Catholics don’t have an issue with Mormonism, when their own Church states Mormons are not Christians.

The laws need to be enforced and we need to elect those who will enforce the borders, this isn’t about having a heart, it is about saving this country from invasion. If not we are going to have another civil war.

No, because those laws are detrimental and socialist control. True conservatives would fight for the enforcement of laws to protect this country - laws liberals don’t want enforced.

Yes it is. I had a miscarriage in December 2005. I had to wait 8 hours in the ER while illegals were taken first and then was ejected out of my cubicle for an illegal. I lost my baby in a PUBLIC toilet all because of the illegals.

We say we had enough and decided to move from California back to America and it is. Vast differences, no spanish, no illegals. I heard Spanish once during harvest at the Walmart in town, but they were just passing through (saw their plates) - and I was still aggravated. This is America - SPEAK ENGLISH!

I took Latin in HS, because I was told I HAD to take Spanish to learn to communicate with them. I got so angry that the school counselor called my mother and said I needed to get help for my ‘racism’. I told her no one would come up to me and ask me the time in Latin. I know several languages, but Spanish is not one of them. I refuse.

BTW, there was one guy who went to the Latin teacher after I told him what I told the counselor, and asked how to ask me what time it was in Latin. He did it as a joke. I married him.

So if we don’t support Santorum, we are ‘anti-Catholics’?

I can't speak for the others you addressed but I'm not anti-Catholic and I'm not supporting Santorum, at least not at this point in time. Some people use this tactic just as the ones who say if you don't vote for my guy then you're for Obama. These people de-legitimize themselves by making such stupid and asinine statements.
