With all Perry's pandering in Texas, he gets 1/3 of the Hispanic vote, and if all the recent, illegal arrivals (about 1/3 of Hispanics) could vote, Perry and all Republicans would get less than their typical 30%.
Many Hispanic citizens of many years vote Republican. Recent arrivals and those awaiting amnesty are overwhelmingly Democrats in thinking.
And you misrepresent Rush's views. He has put defeating Obama above all else. That's why he mealy mouths about Perry's record on illegal immigration.
I agree. Perry looks in control. Appears calm and effective.

Be serious. We are apprehending over half a million people annually trying to cross the border and many more are getting through. Just a few years ago, apprehensions were over a million annually. We are being invaded.
