... We were talking about religions in Germany. I said, Im a Christian. I think being a homosexual is wrong, he said. It wasnt directed to anyone except my friend who was sitting behind me. I guess [the teacher] heard me. He started yelling. He told me he was going to write me an infraction and send me to the office.

Didn’t the Republican Party in 1979 endorse the establishment of the Department of Education? How did Bob Dole vote on that, I’ve forgotten?

A lawsuit should still ensue. Multi-millions. And the teacher should be canned.

Gee! Verga, I just put some sugar in my lemonade. Does that make me a hypocrite? Many libertarians believe that sugar prices should be allowed to seek their free market level.
Am I a hypocrite for putting milk on my cereal? Oops! Problems with government subsides and regulation of milk and grain products. I guess that make me a hypocrite there as well.

Looks like Scripture defined our fellow Americans centuries and centuries ago.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
The same can be said for the expression, “good government teacher”.
Good government teacher is an oxymoron.
A good teacher would never work for or cooperate with a system that taught children to think and reason godlessly. Good teachers would be rescuing children from the system's iron grip and working to shut the godless government indoctrination camps down.

One more thing, I haven't been proof reading my posts. I guess that makes me a hypocrite, too.

Did you know that millions of “conservative” voters willingly vote for liberal school board candidates simply because they have “heard of them”? They are too busy to research school board candidates, and the media won’t do it for them. It is rare to see an outspoken conservative on most school boards. The American people are totally confused about nearly everything.
To: Rashputin
The culture of death is alive and well and thriving on the cowardice of those who claim to know better. You just paraphrased Burke: "All that is needed for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing!" That sums up the American people in a nutshell.
To: Theodore R.
I my town it is impossible to get elected to the People Indoctrination Collective ( oops! “school board”) without the fascist imprimatur of the Marxist teachers’ union.
The Marxist teachers union has armies of clueless useful Idiots to get out the vote...and...they make certain that school board elections are never at the same time as the general elections. This guarantees low voter turn out.
The whole system is corrupt.

You know, you're right. I should have thought a while longer and just quoted him since he said it so much better than I.
The majority is sitting around talking about how horrible it all is and just shuffling along the cattle chutes toward the coming slaughter. Why it's so difficult to get people who as a rule put their personal self-interest above all else to act in their own self-interest on the political front before it's too late is an interesting study in crowd psychology, that's for sure.

It was the assistant principal who reduced it to one day. The head principal removed it completely.

The goats, otoh, go back to their quarters when the day is done.

These are typical Alinsky questions. Their purpose is to defame and discredit the person who advocates for Constitutional and free market principles. Actually they are not, but you know that already. You have discredited yourself with your extremist views. You want to destroy something that works for 80% of the population for purely selfish reasons and don't offer a viable alternative.I will keep asking these questions to make sure that everyone realizes the hypocrisy of your position.

A good teacher would refuse to work for a system that forced a child to think and reason godlessly, or taught them to be comfortable with socialism. Actually we GREAT public school teachers are willing to work from inside the system to make positive changes, rather than the cowards that cut and run for personal reason involving poor parenting practices (Not that I am thinking of anyone in particular wintertime)

Didn't you use public education for your children when it was CONVIENT for you even when a private school was available?

Only evil can come from teaching children to think and reason godlessly.Public schools are based on the Protestant model, are you saying that Protestants are godless? You didn't answer this the first 5 times I asked you, why are you avoiding direct questions?

A powerful way to push back is for conservatives to get heavily involved in local politics. We have been asleep at the wheel locally, and local political control has been a sitting duck for the taking for radical Leftists. We can't assume local issues will take care of themselves because of the conservative makeup of an area. Communist Democrats know this, and become very organized and active in city councils, school boards, and county commissions, even in conservative communities.
We could dominate the grassroots control of our communities with just a little effort. And that's were real politics meets life.

Another Alinsky debating tactic: Personal insult. Do that and we all know that you can not defend your premise. The truth is it's own defense. You are an extremist. You want to destroy something that works for 8-% of the population, but have yet to offer a viable alternative. We are waiting for you to offer one, but not holding our breaths

I earned a doctorate in one the most competitive health professions. I practiced for a little less than 30 years. And yet you don't understand the difference between "Socialism" and a "Democratic Republic", and you can't spell government. I find this very hard, no almost impossible to beleive.
