A bit of humor from the article: If Palin keeps trending like this, Joe McGinniss might want to rent the place next door to the White House just in case.

This is just another poll with no campaign.

While it bodes well for us and Palin, it is meaningless until November 2012.

Obama has one year to right this ship.

What does it say about a would-be candidate that she does better by not campaigning and debating?

Actually, it isn't very flattering that she does better by doing nothing!

The most delicious quote from Malkin's article for the Perrywinkles out there:

Obama leads Perry by 50 percent to 41 percent. ...

Obama leads Palin by 49 percent to 44 percent.

That boom you just heard is Erick at RedState's head exploding. (He's being as silent about this poll as he normally accuses the media of being about Fast and Furious.)

Poll METHODOLOGY

This survey of 1,042 adults was conducted on Sept. 13-14. Adults 18 and older residing in the continental United States were interviewed by telephone. Telephone numbers were selected based upon a list of telephone exchanges from throughout the nation. The exchanges were selected to ensure that each region was represented in proportion to its population. To increase coverage, this land-line sample was supplemented by respondents reached through random dialing of cell phone numbers. The two samples were then combined. Results are statistically significant within plus or minus 3.0 percentage points. There are 825 registered voters. The results for this subset are statistically significant within plus or minus 3.5 percentage points. There are 317 Republicans and Republican leaning independents. The results for this subset are statistically significant within plus or minus 5.5 percentage points. The error margin increases for cross-tabulations. http://www.miamiherald.com/2011/09/20/v-fullstory/2417008/poll-finds-obama-losing-ground.html

She was looking very much like a contender on Hannity last night. Many Observers commented here on FR that it appears she may be doing speech therapy work because the new calmer soft spoken tone.

Just when I think, OK, maybe she is not running. I'm back to, Oh yea!, she's running.

Very revealing on several levels:

- Despite the media’s Five Year Plan to absolutely destroy her, support for Sarah remains much deeper and broader than anyone, even on our side of the aisle, is willing to believe.

- The MSM and the Democrat Party is working overtime sending telegrams, semaphores and smoke signals to Obama saying that “YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE! DO US ALL A FAVOR AND GET OUT OF THE RACE NOW!” (keep in mind all those same people think Sarah is some kind of space alien)

- Given the above, Turner’s win in NY-9 may turn out to be one of the most pivotal political turning points in American history.

- and this is key...If the MSM and Dems are working this hard to kick Barry to the curb, the rumblings that he is clinically depressed and/or having some kind of crackup must be true, and all of the top-level Democrats know it.

Pray for America.

-

The distressing thing is that Obama should be getting about ten to fifteen percent...not anything approaching fifty percent. Ten percent allows for the mentally unfit and illiterate plus some commies...who fit into both categories actually. That almost fifty percent of the voting public think Obama is still more qualified than successful governors means this country is in deep trouble.

Very interesting. I wasn't surprised that Perry polled well when he first announced, but the test is how well his poll numbers hold up as more learn about him.

He says some great things and is definitely on the right side of many issues, but...

He's made some real WTFs, too, like his HPV mandate, his stances on dealing with illegal immigration or his TTC plan, that raise warning flags and will strongly distance rank and file Tea Party types from his candidacy and lower him in the polls.

Palin looks better and better the more you learn about him and Romney, the two current front runners.

Hmmm, looks like more then just a few either read or listened to Sarah’s Labor Day speech where she attacked the crony capitalism of both the D’s and R’s. Sarah is the only one telling it like it is.

patently waiting on Sarah here in Texas.
