Bret Baier will be the moderator this Thursday just maybe he’ll not set up the questions to attack Perry. It was as unfair as h*ll and those not seeing it are plain stupid. Let us hope Bret proves to be a good fair moderator.

I love how all you rino supporters defend the indefensible.

I agree that perhaps it will be structured differently and in a fairer way. I do hope at least one question is asked to Bachmann about her lying “mental retardation” statement. She needs to be held acountable.

Also hoping that some questions will be directed to Romney to force him to have to defend his policies. He is allowed to skate through all the debates.

Let’s hope this next debate provides more of an opportunity to see more issues, strong points, bad points, etc. of ALL the candidates. We’ve had too much “wagging the dog” with the Gardasil issue only. A Republican party nomination process should not focus on just one issue like that, and now, not only have we had little discovered about all the OTHER issues - stands and records - but that “wagging the dog” trick has taken our eyes off Romneycare and has greatly marginalized Perry’s ability to fight against Obamacare in the general election should he so win the Republican nomination.

That said, I hope Perry is able to pick his debate skills up a little more too though. He has seemed uncomfortable with the situation - could be his recent spinal surgery and pain - but I also think he is still warming up to debates (while Romney has... what five years or so of experience with them). His second debate was somewhat of an improvement over the first, so here’s hoping he’s a quick enough learner that this debate will be even better for him.

I have to emphasize once more though, that we really need to get off the one-trick-pony issue here and start looking at all issues and all candidates more, be it Perry or Romney or Newt or Cain or Rick Santorum or whoever our candidates may be.
