KNIGHT: Obama tears up the Constitution The scope of his lawless disregard expands by the day The Constitution of the United States, whose adoption we celebrate every Sept. 17, clearly lists the powers of each branch of the national government. Let’s take a look at what Barack Obama, like any president, is empowered to do and see if it squares with his actions. In Article II, Section 1, he is sworn to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” Section 2 names the president as commander in chief of the armed forces, grants him the power to make treaties with the advice and consent of the Senate and to appoint ambassadors, federal judges, Cabinet officials and other federal officers. Section 3 says the president “shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed.” In his two years and nine months in office, President Obama has compiled a spectacular record of noncompliance with the Constitution. They’re letting him bury himself instead of trying to rein him in and then get bashed for racism and other various conspiracies. By doing this, they are letting him be seen for the scum he is instead of letting themselves get scapegoated. Let him ruin himself and then get him out in 2012 and then the country can get back on track.

The people who put this person in the White House tore up the Constitution. So now Obama can blame them. Some of us warned others for decades that the courts and Congress were being infiltrated by the far left,but no one wanted to listen or do anything about it.

Can someone, with better understanding of such things than I possess, enlighten those of us here who have tried - and failed - to find Constitutional support for the myriad and essentially eternal Executive Orders that now seem to truly run the country, and seem poised to do so even more as the Feds grab more power?

Which currently active EOs would people like to see ended, and how would it get done?

Assuming a conservative POTUS gets elected, what OEs would you like to see enacted, if any, or would you support scapping the whole mechanism, and returning to a better balance of powers

I too believe that is what they are doing rather than engage their lawlessness as the Democrats, the Leftist’s have the MSM, thus the ability to twist, and turn everything of news to their favor.

It’s futility to fight against the power of the press, the all encompassing MSM.

As Paul Ryan recently stated they have passed bills, they’ve passed a budget, but the Democrats get away with sitting on those accomplishments, doing nothing with them, and blaming the Republicans for gridlock, because the MSM won’t report on the Republican accomplishments.

Goebbels knew to control the media, you can deceive the masses and control their thinking. Media is all about “emotions”, never the intellect. The papers and magazines are all filled with half-truths. Most people have no true knowledge to form any sound opinions unless they have been getting information without the MSM filter and bias.

The Marxists/Progressives have controlled and steered the thinking of the US for 100 years. This is nothing new......McCarthy was destroyed by the press which formed all perceptions the people had of him. He was a patriot trying to clean out all the Communist infiltration that had occurred in the 30’s and 40’s which was vast and affected Yalta, Tito, and gave Mao the advantage in China (Blacklisted by History).
