She had something done to her throat/windpipe on Monday.
Back to work on Wednesday and she brought, and used, her oxygen all day.
As she walked to the front to leave she told one of the IT guys he needed to call 911...she knew she was in trouble and couldn’t make it home (thank you God for making her see that). She would have been alone at home.
This evening she is still sedated, but the nurse said they had her on her feet just a bit earlier today, and she had a bronciosomething.
Sunday I will go see her early afternoon and maybe she will be less sedated. Yesterday she wiggled her finger when I held her hand and talked to her.
I’m hoping that they figure out the breathing issue too. Thank you so much for the prayers.
My folks are doing pretty well. We put in a second hand rail on the last 5 steps down. My Mom isn’t ready to go to more stairlift. My Dad is still driving, but only in a small area with not too much traffic. We are fortunate that the credit union, library, and his grocery store of choice are in that “square”.
I pray that the doctors will find out what’s wrong with
Teresa soon so she can be given whatever it takes for her to
begin to recover.
I’m glad to hear that your parents are doing well and are
trying to maintain what small independences that they can claim. :)
You are a good daughter and friend, Kathy! ((((hugs))))
