Probably. Im sure if one were so inclined, they could find direct links from a contributor to a policy that benefits them in every politician’s career.
I’m already sick of this word. Socialism is the evil facing us right now. To focus on campaign finance reform in the face of the Obama socialist wrecking ball is to be as stupid as... John McCain!

I don’t think Michelle is ready for prime time yet. I have cringed at her CSPAN rantings as silly petty episodes of emotionalism. She must move beyond this. I wish she’d have stayed focused on the 105+billion mandated in the ObamaCare bill that need to be repealed or defunded. SHe is wasting her energies in this, trying to say she can be as good as Sarah Palin, but looking like a blundering fool. I like Bachmann. Really. However, she’s not ready for this, but was doing a very good job of keeping the ObamaCare issues front and forward so that people were aware. I wish she’d drop out of this and get back to work. I think she’d do more good, for now, as a US Congresswoman that she is.
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.
It’s a non-issue. She is going nowhere fast. No executive experience and too screechy.
I am so tired of politicians telling half truths. She has diminished herself in my eyes. My son says she reminds him of his ex who got her way every time by saying “the Lord told me to do this.” He said “how could I argue with God?” That is until he caught her having an affair with a lawyer in their hometown. Caution needs to be used in taking what Michele says.
She has a Susie problem. Every time Bachmann opens her mouth I get a flashback of annoying Susie from the first season of Survivor. How can America put up with that voice for 4 years. But it could be a good torture method for the terrorist. Stick them in a room and making them listen to her give a lecture on Obamacare. Make her the terrorist czar.
I would ask the author of this blog the following:
Did any of Rep. Bachmann's aides become a lobbyist for any of the corporations you listed?
Did Rep. Bachmann advocate for GlaxoSmithKline's vaccine Cervarix to be a mandated vaccination for young girls?
Can you point to any instance where Rep. Bachmann provided a benefit to the corporations you listed?
How many of the corporations you listed also contributed to Gov. Perry's campaigns?
What connections do you have to the Perry campaign?
Are you a contributor?
She’s yesterday’s news.
Personally, I think the biggest crony capitalism we see going on right now is Michele Bachmann giving political “contributions” to Mitt Romney in exchange for a VP or other slot in what-she-seems-to-believe-will-be a Mitt Romney presidency.
Well she DID work for Jimmuh Caaata at one point!
Maybe Michele isn’t cooked long enough yet, but Perry? Why he has cooked too long.
Michele has never attempted to force her will on the people. Perry cannot make that statement.
She has a mouth diarrhea/not electable problem.
MINNESOTTA 2007
Tax-Payer Funded Gardisil Vaccines, Merck & Co., Inc
From: HPV Vaccine: Report to the Minnesota Legislature 2007
The Minnesota immunization program is completely federally financed and receives no state funding.
In the public sector, the cost of Gardasil (the currently licensed quadrivalent HPV vaccine) is $96.75 per dose. Since a woman requires three doses of the vaccine, the total cost per patient in the public sector would be $290.25. In the private sector, the cost is $120.00 per dose or $360 for a complete series. These figures do not include administrative costs.
(snip)
MDH administers the Minnesota Vaccines for Children program (MnVFC), which covers Gardasil for eligible children through 18 years of age.
(snip)
For HPV vaccine, MnVFC focuses on covering routine vaccination at 11-12 years of age and catch-up of 13-18 year olds who are uninsured or underinsured. MnVFC also pays for HPV vaccine for uninsured and underinsured adult women ages 19 to 26 years in public health clinics, which is a temporary catch-up program, and was planning on expanding this to Title X family planning clinics.
(snip)
GlaxoSmithKline has developed another HPV vaccine, Cervavix, and is seeking FDA licensure for women ages 10 through 55 years. It is possible that this product will be available in 2008. This vaccine is called a bivalent vaccine because it only protects against two types of HPV: types 16 and 18. It does not protect against genital warts caused by viruses 6 or 11. As with Gardasil, studies in females show Cervarix to be almost 100 percent effective against HPV types 16 and 18 precancers.

From New VISs for Gardasil and Cervarix in MN 2010
New VISs for Gardasil and Cervarix There are now two VISs for HPV: one for Gardasil and one for Cervarix, both dated 3/30/2010.
I just read that Michele will be on with Jay Leno tonight.
Excellent research.
I know the crony capitalism charge doesnt apply to Perry

The author must be kidding? or totally in the tank for Perry
Rep. Bachmann is still on the top of my list.
