Presuming this was a voluntary decision, I’m fine with it...however, I really don’t like the Dietary Gestapo.
I am the first to admit that I should eat better, but this comes across like indoctrination to me.

The Darden restaurant company pledged Thursday to reduce calories and sodium by 20 percent over 10 years. Call me skeptical, but all this means to me is blander food in smaller portions that I have to pay the same price for anyway.

Olive Garden serves french fries?
Every time I have taken my kids and grandkids they get pasta.

French fries should be registered to keep them out of the hands of children. They’re deadly....deadly....

Next thing you know, they’ll be expecting you to sign a permission slip before you can order.

God help us.
OG has the best Fettucini Alfredo bar none. It’s fat, loaded with calories so you watch the amount you eat.
If they water this down with skim milk or a low fat cheese etc it would be a travesty.
Secondly, I’m hearing her say we need to stop adding salt to our food. Obviously this idiot for brains doesn’t realize that salt is taste inhancement when used in cooking. Adding salt at the table is unnecessary, esp before tasting the food, (a date breaker in my opinion), but try eating an oatmeal, raisin, pecan cookie without salt in it.

If a child wants French fries, an adult will have to ask for them.
However, if a child wants an abortion or condoms from the school nurse, no adult permission is needed or desired.

Who says french fries are unhealthy? Also, how do I know vegetables are healthy? Just because someone says so?

No loss - never eat at the Olive Garden anyways. If I want sphagetti out of a can, I can buy Chef-Boy-Ardee. I am sure that they will stop serving the other fatty foods which contains alfredo sauce. /sarc.
As for Red Lobster, they can keep their frozen fish.

This is stupid. The fat in milk is GOOD FOR YOU. Go take a look and see how low fat milk is made, what the process is to remove it.
Mooch is a dumbass beyond words and so is Darden for agreeing to this. As far as Friendly’s goes the place went down the tubes YEARS ago.
