Complete Headline: Sarah Palin snorted cocaine off 55 gallon oil drum and had affairs with NBA star and husband's business partner: Sensational claims in new book

Sarah Palin snorted cocaine off a 55 gallon oil drum while snowmobiling with friends and had elicit affairs with a top NBA star and one of her husband's business partners, a new book sensationally claims.

In revelations which could strike a devastating blow to the controversial politician's hopes of joining the 2012 presidential race, Mrs Palin is said to have snorted the class A drug off an oil drum with her husband.

Joe McGinniss's book The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin, which is due to be published on September 20, also alleges that the former governor of Alaska is far from the traditional family woman she claims to be.

Mrs Palin, 47, had a one-night stand with Miami Heat basketball star Glen Rice less than a year before she eloped with her husband, the book claims.

She is said to have met the 6ft 8ins player in 1987 when he was playing in a college basketball tournament in Alaska and she worked as a sports reporter for KTUU television.

It is also claimed that she carried on an affair with Brad Hanson, who ran a snowmobile dealership with her husband Todd - a betrayal which led to Todd dissolving their business.

Hahaha!

I never cease to be tickled by the ad-hominem smears that come from the Paul and, especially, the Palin people.

Look down at this thread——or better still, my pings-—and see how much well-reasoned support for Palin you find.

What you get is people who act like LIBERALS. Yes, liberals. They operate on feelings, emotion, and anger. NO effort to win support for the “candidate” based on facts and logic.

So who is acting like little girls??

I will back up every single cristicism I have of Palin with factual information.

Put that up against your name-calling and see who comes out looking better.

Hell, even Ann Coulter said on Fox the other night that her biggest problem with Palin isn’t nearly as much with her as it is witrh her FANS.

I have lost both parents to cancer and I’m on the way out myself. And WHO IS USING IT AS AN EXCUSE? WHO??? If you were in my shoes and some yahoo says, “Well that poor Sarah Palin has to put up with so much crap and people like you are making her suffer.”

Suffer. Yeah, sure. She may be INCONVENIENCED and AGGRAVATED maybe but she has made millions since she quit her job and became half politics and half show-biz. Sufferingis really stretching the point.

If you want credibility on FR, lay off the personal attacks. There is a long, long list of former FReepers who had to learn that the hard way.

“Do not attack other posters” is a longtime posting rule.

This crap proves that Palin is as good as elected.

She can start picking out the curtains for the oval office tomorrow.

Go Sarah!

You have one of the most appropriate screen names on FR.

EVERY conservative, and some liberal candidates must put up with false charges. This doesn’t mean that I should not be disgusted with it, nor demand that all sources should be named before they be published. If I claimed to a turd like McGinniss that YOU were involved in a gay orgy, or that you were seen in a crack house, good luck disproving it! Bob

I love how Bill Handel covered this item on the radio this morning (KFI LA). He used to have a cocaine problem in the 80s. He said “This can’t be true. I’ve tried to snort coke off an giant oil drum and it doesn’t work. It’s too oily.”

If you managed to escape exposure to cocaine in the 1980’s...or ‘70’s...or’90’s, I salute you. I would just like to know your secret. I am (and was) a Bible-believing Christian, happily married and a faithful husband in those days (divorced in 2001) and yet I was around users all the time. Mostly in the business world.

And that was in the highly conservative northern Atlanta suburbs.

Although I never used the crap myself, I can thing of a couple dozen people who used it regularly and didn’t try to keep it a secret. As for wild and crazy sex: about the same. The two things seemed to go hand in hand.

So it was part of the times for many, many people.

And remember one key point about Sarah Palin: in the late ‘80’s she was a member of the media (sports reporter). And we all know how popular it was and probably still is to “Just say ‘No’ among that crowd.

That particular shot undoubtedly has a picture of the individual(s) who tried to burn down Sarah's church.

Now, about this book ~ the guy published the book and she's not a candidate for public office, nor is she holding office at this time.

Most of the trashiest part concerns times when she wasn't running for office or in office.

Because of that she has a clear path to financial satori in real time when she files her Libel and Slander cases against the writer and his helpers.

I'd suppose with this publication date out of the way she can now begin running for office!

This stupid book has more to say about McGinniss than about Our Sarah.

And who cares about him?

By not being a public office holder nor a candidate for office Sarah has the upper hand on McGinness and his publisher.

The standards are different for private individuals.

BTW, she even had one of these pukes file an ethics complaint against her when she was no longer Governor.

I'm just guessing here but she could very well be prepared to launch a serious of ruinous libel and slander suits against almost the entirety of the Western States Leftwingtard news media.

What you get is people who act like LIBERALS.

Says the guy who joyously rolled in the liberal turd instead of pointing out it was such.

Seriously, we don't need your stupid lecture about civility. You are one of the few people on this thread who tried to treat this allegation as having any seriousness and relevance - yet we are supposed to just ignore behavior that, had it been done by a noob, would have gotten them immediately zotted as a probable DU troll?

If yoo want to be treated politely on a conservative website, don't give credence to liberal attacks on conservatives. You're like a guy who kicks a dog repeatedly and then blames the dog when it bites him.

No, it’s not up to anybody to try to prove a negative...it is up to McGinness, Levi Johnston, or whoever to provide evidence.

The thing that sours me most on Palin is SHE QUIT HER JOB!

That is unforgiveable. Just like Romneycare ruins Willard for me and backing Specter over Toomey in ‘04 spoils Santorum.

Some things in politics and government are just not done.

If Palin was worried about lawsuits, her supporters would have gladly set up a legal defense fund. I don’t recall any effort being made in that direction. She just cited lawsuits and an unfair Alaska law forcing officeholders to defend themselves against nuisance suits as the reason.

Then ensued a “reality show,” bus tour, and so forth. Things mixing politics with showbiz.

That may be your cup of tea but it is most definitely not mine.

We get enough show biz from the current occupants of the WH.

you simply can't make such a pronouncement in the absence of complete information.

But strangely you can.

I am 73 years old and never knew anyone that used drugs of any kind other than whisky, mostly home made.

I was drugged and rolled on a bar in San Diego, when I was in the Navy, but as far as I know that is the only drug I ever had except sedation for surgery, didn't like any of it.

One should not try to form a world view on their own limited experience good or bad.

You will have to take my word for that but it happens to be true.

Self delusion is not uncommon today. Almost as common as willful ignorance, but those conditions are usually found in the Liberal camp, not here.

My comment was to someone who brought up the boob job issue and I clearly stated that it is dumb to discuss the non-issue. Regardless of how I feel about FR, I will continue to make what comments I want, while making a concerted effort to stay within the guidelines established by the site owner. I don't care if you consider them ‘in the gutter’ or not.
