Bachman is still there. Just spotted her in a wide shot of the stage....
Santorum sinking on immigration. Buh bye.
I can’t believe NBC and Politico are using a token Hispanic to ask questions only about (illegal) immigration. How racist of them!
Newt gave some good history. Simpson-Mizzoli of 1986 was to clean up the problems and be followed by border control and immigration law enforcement.
This debate is no waste of time!
These candidates are showing how they can stand up to this kind of sh##### which will only keep coming and will continue to grow as we go through this campaign.
They are showing they have guts and courage, and I am very proud of them for giving of their very important time to show us who they are and how they can stand up to the pressure.
Having this Hispanic guy stand that close to the podiums on stage to grill the candidates is an in-your-face, intimidating tactic.
Yep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Problem solved.
I sure wish they would give Cain time on immigration - he and Bachmann score highest on immigration issues of all candidates.
I believe that is called a political donation, not a kickback.
Current speaking turns: Perry: 11 Romney: 7 Santorum: 5 Cain: 4 Huntsman: 4 Bachmann: 5 Paul: 6 Gingrich: 5
Fence will NOT WORK in Texas. We already have fences where they do. What you gonna do, fence us off from the Rio Grande? Non-Texans do not understand Texas border. Arizona needs a fence. CA needs a fence. Fence no workie in TX.
Why is this guy allowed to grill the candidates? Ok, let Rush Limbaugh have his turn at Obama.
Bachmann says if we don’t build a border on every inch, we will cede our territory to others. But if we DO build the fence along the Rio Grande, we will cede the entire Rio Grande to another country.
And we can’t build it in the middle of the river.
He’ll have a picture taken of him looking out the window of Air Force 1 at the ‘devastation’, while flying out to California for some fundraisers.
That is absolutely brilliant.
Okay, so Bachmann is open to amnesty too.
Wow MB is still in the debate room?
