Santorum out for me as well...he can’t beat Obama. Paul, Huntsman, Santorum, Perry down, Bachmann, Romney, break even, Newt, Cain up.
Perry, Cain, Bachman, Newt (credit for kicking b@lls) then McRomney. All others are insignificant.
So who do you like? And welcome to FRee REpublic.
Perry makes no apaology for executing murderers. Audeince applause.
Williams the a-hole says—what do you make of audience applauding the death of 234 people(i.e. executions in TX).
Perry doesn’t back down.
All it takes is knowing someone with cervical cancer then finding out that HPV could be prevented with a shot, then one might take a different look at it.
My knee jerk reaction when moving to TX in 2007 was similar to those seen on this thread but the more I find out about what really happened and not just the sound byte or head line, then I can understand what happened.
Not sure I agree yet, but your explanation makes sense.
“yeah, to reply to the questions framed to attack him over and over and over”
Which means he gets to make his own point over and over and over...
Perry struck out on the climate question, has he not been briefed on the CERN report that declared global warming to be heliocentric?
What a hoot it would be for the next President to bring out Newt as his/her press secretary. I’d pay to watch those press encounters.
Perry was excellent on the death penalty. Impressive here, not so much on other questions. He needs to do a bit more homework.
Perry taking on capital punishment. paraphrase ... “If you murder Texans you will face execution”
Perry just nailed it on the death penalty....thoughtful clear answer!
Like you I joined late. So far I hear real good stuff from Perry, Bachmann, Gingrich, Paul. Just hearing Cain tonight. He sounds real good too.
Newt does well in these debates. Wish he had more questions.
He has been up and down tonight, but he nailed that one.
I think Perry is thinking before he speaks...perhaps a bit too much, but considering there are a horde of runny-nosed lefties drooling in anticipation of a line they can use to make him out to be something ending in “ist”, I would too.
"Neither. I would write in Palin."
Quite simply, he would then be contributing to the re-election of the President, and to the downfall of this nation, as sure as the day is long.
BRIAN WILLIAMS what do YOU think about the thousands of tiny babies that are murdered in this country EVERY SINGLE DAY? Why are you crying about a couple hundred murderers being executed?
That really took the (lib) moderators by surprise. Williams was amazed at the ‘bloodthirsty’ reaction of the crowd!
Amen!!!!
What a hoot it would be for the next President to bring out Newt as his/her press secretary. Id pay to watch those press encounters.LOL!
