You do realize that saying i don’t support Palin
because I am jealous, is the same thing as me saying you don’t support Obama because you’re a Racist. You not only insult me, but you insult her as well because you take her off the even playing field with a gross generalization. You should be ashamed of yourself.
That would depend on whether or not you’re jealous now wouldn’t it? Perhaps you’re not. Unless I missed it, you haven’t given a solid reason. Could you direct me to a post explaining your opposition in detail? I’d be very interested to know.
“Maybe Ann is simply jealous b/c Sarah has Todd, and shes happily married with kids, who knows?”
I think Skeletor Coulter plays for the other team. If anything, she’s jealous b/c Todd has Sarah.
Those qualities are EXACTLY what I want, and what American needs, in the White House.
Couldn't agree more!
“The Tea Party is much bigger and hopefully, more long lasting than Palin, unless we wreck it by trying to narrow it down to fit into Palins pocket.”
Your half right and half wrong. Nobody is a leader of the Tea Party, but Palin is the biggest headliner of any politician out there that the TeaParty keeps calling back.
Do you know anybody else that the Tea Partiers crave to hear as much as Palin? No.
Very good.
All aboard the PDRR.
Ann hasn't changed, it's just that the scales have fallen off of many people's eyes.
Go back and take another look at those book jackets.
Ann Coulter GODLESS
Ann Coulter GUILTY
DEMONIC Ann Coulter
See a few red flags?
Her fans have been the target of her mocking spirit all along.
That might explain how it is she is best buds with Bill Maher.
I don’t recall Governor Sarah Palin ever claiming to be the “leader” or even a “leader” of the Tea Party movement.
They will say that since she is not President, the Tea Party is dead. I hope the tea party is alive and well and BIG for the coming decade at least and not dependent on one politican the media annoints as “our leader.” We don’t have a leader.
I think it is safe to say that the Tea Party agrees on one thing - business as usual in DC is unacceptable and Obama’s vision for the US is hell. From my experience as an organizer in Texas, that is about all you can honestly say about our tea partiers.
Do you know anybody else that the Tea Partiers crave to hear as much as Palin? No.
Yep. In that scenario you did.
Now, if I had a fanbase, would you find it appropriate for them to scream that Windflier is a gay, fudge-packing queer than eats babies and bends over for Obama? (note: I wouldn’t)
Cause that’s the kind of responses that are being posted on this thread.
Some of them have been active in conservative politics for decades. I am still learning from them.
They are all politically pragmatic, however—even the ones who were starting their own party to the right, in some ways, of all the Republicans and have since abandoned the effort in recognition of the necessity of getting rid of Obama before we have no repubic left.
Tempest, when the walls fell.
Ann is one of the most pro-life people I know or know of. Why are you bringing in these straw men, abortion and Obama? You’re criticizing her for positions that she would never hold.
And I don’t worship Ann or think anyone should. Stop projecting.
You don’t have to give up your principles. Ann is not running for president. Just learn some simple manners.
You lose.
I win. That’s the way it works.
Yeah, I’ve been on the receiving end of such flames.
It doesn’t bother me, though. I figure if the person does not have a mind capable of dealing with the truth, that’s their problem.
But as you say, it IS a small number of people.
I myself have compared Sarah Palin to lightning in a bottle and called her the love child of Theodore Roosevelt out of Annie Oakley. But offerings of praise for an authentic conservative talent who knows how to outmaneuver the PR Masters of Disaster who work as JournoListers now, who is honest and actually raised an intact family while pursuing a career in politics cannot remotely be characterized as the insane hero-worship that MSM drones deliberately attached to an empty suit with a Harvard diploma (earned how honestly, honestly?) because his agenda mirrored their own very Prog/Red/Stalinist values.
People who read this board know very well that enthusiasm for a politician or author doesn't long survive a swing to the left or the beginnings of a "glide path to the White House" that typifies canny triangulators as they depart from lifetime positions in a search for "electability" to high office.
Examples of conservatives who've done this include John McCain, Orrin Hatch, and now John Thune.
Good point, when Michele Bachmann and e.g. Sharron Angle might be more typical Tea Partiers than Sarah, who was a mavericky governator of Alaska when the Tea Party was being born among frustrated economic literates responding to ObamaNomics.
