Just days after the Labor Department announced zero job growth for the month of August, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D.-Fla.), the chair of the Democratic National Committee, said that the economy is continuing on the upswing" and that every economist "worth their salt" acknowledges that this is the result of the economic stimulus signed into law by President Barack Obama in 2009.
When Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act in February of that year, the national unemployment rate was 8.2 percent. As the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported last week, the national unemployment rate was 9.1 percent this August, unchanged from July. Before Obama signed the economic stimulus, his top economic advisers predicted unemployment would stay below 8 percent if it were enacted.
The Congressional Budget Office has estimated that the the stimulus cost $830 billion.

Yes, Debbie, if the goal of Obozo and the liberal morons controlling the Senate is to bankrupt the country, then the economy is going in the direction you desire.
You have a point, but wouldn’t it be a sight to see her blow it out her a##.
It’s fly season around here. My fly strips are attractive.
That, is a good one.
That, is a good one.
On January 11, 2011 Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz told radio host Tavis Smiley, Now is the time for the president to have a conversation about civility.
Flashback: Wasserman Schultz Says Country Needs a New Tone of Civility in Public Discourse (Video)
As I posted earlier, it's too bad Fox and Friends was not prepared with this video this Morning but I have found they are not the sharpest tools.
The problem is that Wasserdyke and her ilk haven’t pushed a shopping cart through a grocery store in years. A pack of bacon is almost $8.00!
You said....
“Disagree. She is the gift that keeps on giving. We should encourage her to speak as often and loudly as possible while continually reminding everyone that her views are that of the Democrats.
Sun Tzu said it - and I paraphrase - when your enemy is making a mistake, let them.”
Agree 100%. We need her to speak often, loudly, and proudly
“The Recovery Act had a direct impact on making sure that teachers, firefighters, police officers were able to remain in their jobs.”
She is right, but is this a new federal spending program to keep unionized jobs? Is it going to be a line item on the budget each year? Do we need a new cabinet level position to oversee the SEIU employees retention budget?

I might need a pinch hitter if you’re only that big.
Honestly. How do the voters in these districts justify electing these incredible stupid people?

The human talking point speaks.
Debbie, even your HAIRSTYLE isn’t on the upswing!!!
Looked this morning like the flying buttresses yoyu normally have on either side of your head were limp!!!
Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is just plain rude and annoying. EVERY time I’ve seen her being interviewed by someone other than an MSNBC type that is already in her “amen” corner, she refuses to answer a direct question, preferring instead to spout unrelated talking points. She talks over everyone, refusing to let anyone else get a word in edgewise. She demeans anyone who dares to have an opinion that’s different from hers. She doesn’t want to have a conversation. She doesn’t want to debate. She wants to harangue, and if she thinks this approach is going to win people over, she is sadly mistaken.
The only way this economy could be on the “upswing” is if the rope has overstretched after the drop and the dead weight in the noose is on a slight rebound ...
Interesting description. Tools, most definitely. Sharp, no.
Had she been in Egypt, she would not have survived the plague of darkness
