Palin: theres room for more (audio) September 2, 2011 By O.Kay Henderson 4 Comments As former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin walked in the front door of The Machine Shed restaurant in Urbandale, Iowa, this evening, a reporter asked Palin what she thought about the current field of GOP presidential candidates.
Happy with the field of candidates. I always think that theres room for more, though, because spirited debate and more competition will allow an even better discourse and a more rigorous discourse that the public deserves, Palin said.

I love Sarah Palin but I think some of the naysayers and doubters are making a good point...she is getting a little past ripe and if she doesn’t announce soon she’s going to find it difficult to keep up momentum.
Someone needs to read her actual timeframe for deciding.
I hope she just keeps doing what she’s doing if she’s not for sure getting in. Drive people nuts. Keep them annoyed - it’s wonderfully entertaining.
LOL! NO! At least not right away!
She is having a BALL yanking the media’s chain!
John Fund got it EXACTLY right yesterday!

Get off the pot? Geez! The election’s not for another 14 months. It seems the other candidates got on the pot way too early.
She’s running but not officially running. She’s being covered as a curiosity, not as a legitimate candidate.
Soon enough! Sounds like you’re getting impatient. What’s the rush?
Sarah has said a decision by the end of september, peeps should listen. Think after sept 22nd.
I agree completely, I hope she runs, but think she wont.
But regardless of what her original plan was it’s time to make up her mind so that we can get down to the business of picking our candidate without all this distraction of someone else jumping into the race. I wish the party had a deadline for entering the race, so that we could finally move on and focus on who we have to choose from that is actually running.
Wondering when some will get off the Obama pot?
Yes, I know theyre trolls. There will be a day of reckoning. Coming soon. All trolls must die by zot.

More evidence that even conservatives (even the thespian variety, infesting FR), let the screeching hyenas, crisis-a-minute FagMedia set the timetable.
Still a very long 14 months, more than 430 days, until the election....
Turn off your damn TV.
She’s STIRRING the POT! And, I believe that will be her role...and a fine one that is!
If she resign’s from Fox then we know she’s running. Otherwise, she’s just yanking chains.
I think Fund’s analysis is well thought out and may prove to be correct. President Perry and Energy Secretary Palin might just get us Michelle Bachmann’s two dollar gas - and that would be terrific for sooooo many reasons.
Now, I love Palin and have written extensively about her for years. I have my doubts on Perry’s conservatism - but the following quotes show that Perry may be more in touch with the zeitgeist of today:
A: Palin (many times since 2008) “I want to put government on the side of the people...”
B; Perry last week: “I want Washington as inconsequential in our lives as possible.”
Gotta say, quote B is the spirit of the times IMO.
How about she shut her mouth up until she decides and not take the space away from current candidates who actually had the courage to announce and campaign?
I think it’s up to the Gov. when and if she wants to pull the trigger. The popcorn sales alone have been well worth the wait. I’m pretty sure she knows exactly what track she intends to follow and to give up her ability to leave’em twisting in the wind would, in the end, only make her detractors happy.
Jealous?
