More evidence that even conservatives (even the thespian variety, infesting FR), let the screeching hyenas, crisis-a-minute FagMedia set the timetable.

Still a very long 14 months, more than 430 days, until the election....

Turn off your damn TV.

How about she shut her mouth up until she decides and not take the space away from current candidates who actually had the courage to announce and campaign?

Really ! It isn’t Sarah who is ‘delaying’

Sarah is following her own timetable. Sorry if that doesn’t suit some freepers or the press.

Without declaring or running, she still sucks all the air out of the room and gets all the attention.

Ha!

“crisis-a-minute Media “

“Turn off your damn TV.”

Very good points.

They lead everyone around by the nose; like castrated steers.
Remember Fukishima (they left out the thousands of earthquake dead); Gulf oil spill bringing immanent global destruction, the debt ceiling vote (yes important), hurricane last week, hurricane this week, etc etc...

Now of course these events are all serious and hurt real people.
But the point is that most people who were glued to the TV or Internet were not affected, and were just addicted to the thrill of watching “the sky is falling, the sky is falling”

If you think that the day before election day 2012 is the last possible day Palin can be nominated for the Republican ticket... you will be in for quite a shock.

She has to declare her intent to run far enough in advance to raise the funds needed. That, and she has to declare early enough to file the paperwork needed in all states and territories to be added onto the Republican primary ballots.

And the first primary (New Hampshire) will be January 8th. Which means she has just three months until voting day.

Three months to raise the cash for a nationwide campaign... three months to gather the paperwork for over 50 different primaries, fill them out, and the file them with each state/territory.

And in this time, there is many holidays where the party offices will not be open to accept the forms or to process them.

Not to even mention how long it takes to assemble a campaign team that can be effective nationwide... and then develop campaign strategy.
