I support Palin, so I’m in the thread about her speech I just watched. Where I’m pretty sure she didn’t say what you just quoted her as saying, although I’ll have to see the transcript to prove it to you.

No TV here...I’m about to ‘pitch’ myself off my roof...only problem being I’d only fall a few feet and would only break a bone (or two).

That was 45 minutes AFTER her speech, just signing autographs. And shirts. And hats. Heck she might even have signed a baby or two. :)

Missed it live but CSPAN was quick to put it online a saw it there. One take away, she’s running.
With talk that we need a leader with a real plan and then giving what she referred to as “My plan” she is tipping her hand.
She is going to announce eventually.
I thought she she planned on just being a kingmaker and grandma but now after this speech, I think differently.
It was a form-fitting pistol case. Don’t know if it was empty or not.
Voted this morning..lol. It was in the 67% region then. Seems like the entire conservative movement is having a ‘come to Jesus moment’...lol.

Seriously, they were no sustained applause, cheering, and chanting.
A bit dis-gusted (lack of wind in the sails) and apprehensive, I would say.
No doubt here. And shes going for all the marbles,,, not just to hold the office in the same old game.
You almost made me tear up with that thought. It would make me weep with joy to see Sarah bring 'my' people back to the American mainstream.

I’m reading the FReeper comments about it, after seeing the whole speech on C-Span. As always, FReepers post so much of the flavor of the event and many of her best quotes.

After seeing “The Undefeated” on Pay Per View on Friday, I fully understand what she can do to unroot the deep corrupion between lifer politicians and dirty big businesses like the oil companies in AK that she did a TKO on.
ALL: Let me say here that I urge everyone to rent “The Undefeated” from their cable or dish company. Everyone, even long time Palin supporters like me, can learn a lot from that film.
It made me even more confident that she has the firepower to fix Washington DC, just like she did in Alaska.
She will never back down.
