60% Say Palin Run Would Hurt the GOP
Rasmussen Reports ^ | 9/2/11 | Rasmussen

Posted on 09/02/2011 12:33:40 PM PDT by CA Conservative

A plurality (47%) of Likely U.S. Voters believe it is at least somewhat likely that Palin will enter the presidential race, but that includes only 13% who feel it’s Very Likely. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 35% think a Palin bid is unlikely, but just five percent (5%) say it’s Not At All Likely. Eighteen percent (18%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Only 18% of voters think it would be good for Republicans if Palin entered the race. Sixty percent (60%) say it would be bad for the party, while 11% predict it would have no impact. Twelve percent (12%) are not sure.

Even most Republicans (52%) believe it would be bad for the GOP if Palin threw her hat in the ring, a view shared by 74% of Democrats and 54% of voters not affiliated with either major party.

As long as the tactics of RINOs in debate are exactly as we see here, there’s little to distinguish them from the smear tactics of the Left, and exactly as our Marxist President has done, RINOs on this board have brought a chasm of dissension and little converts to show for it. They are a distraction.

To the supporters of President Palin, I can only say that if the latest polls show Obama still counts 27% of the electorate as his diehard lib supporters, in my math class 74% - 27% = 47%...take away the independents and the undecideds and you’re getting close to an even spilt with the remaining rhinoceri...for a candidate who hasn’t given a word yet on whether she’ll run.

This is why rhinoceros sized Depends are going to be sold out through 2012. Sarah is doing the rope a dope on libs and rhinos both and making heads explode on both sides of the aisle, and she isn’t even in her warmup clothes yet.

Poor Sarah Palin, she was so victimized she now makes $12 million a year. This woman is crying all the way to the bank and yet the Palinistas here on FR still want to portray her as some kind of victim. A victim, she is not.

Ah.

Yes. Well, then ...

(Makes me think of the scene in Caine Mutiny when ol' Cap'n Queeg takes the steel balls out of his pocket and starts rolling them in his hands, and everyone watches in shocked silence as the real Queeg reveals himself!)

You mean, like the Palin supporters do on the Perry threads? It's all about winning the coming election, is it not? Let's be sure to be as rude and threatening as possible, you know, to induce loyal support...... /s

You people just do not get it, or are pretending not to get it?

The people that do ALL the polling dislike Gov Palin, it`s not rocket science.

Rasmussen took this poll with one goal in mind, to get a negative result, this is absolutely 100% the result he was after.

I assume you have her tax returns to prove that?

Are you childish enough to believe that 2 wrongs make a right?

I don't post on Perry threads unless I am correcting something said about Palin. And that is rare.

You can interchange “DC establishment” with that GOP. Of course she’ll damage the GOP, and it’s about damned time someone did.

A Sarah Palin presidential victory would hurt the establishment GOP but it would

Rescue the country and the restore the Reagan Republican party.

The people polling against Sarah Palin are not much different than the Democrats polling for Obama. They are the ones who CRAVE power and don’t want to lose their hold on it. It must suck to be them.

Well, actually, I didn't pay to see the movie. BUT Palin saw the film BEFORE it was released to the public so this means she put her stamp of approval on the film or it wouldn't have gone out that way.

If Palin cared about honesty and decency should would have insisted that be edited out of the film. She obviously doesn't care what it does to innocent people.

There’s plenty of info about it in the net. The woman is a rich woman because of all her “victimization”.

I don't see ANYONE demanding purity. I see accusations that other people are demanding purity, said accusations leveled by those who don't like seeing their candidates questioned or criticized.

As you well know, cgg, it is a thinly veiled insult to accuse anyone of seeking purity in a politician, because there is not now, has never been, and will never be ANYONE who will seek purity or advise seeing purity in a political candidate -- seeking purity in a political candidate is a fool's errand, and there is not a cognizent adult alive who would dispute it.

So therefore the bottom line, the SOLE purpose of your post is not to enlighten, explain, educate, or debate, but ONLY to insult the intelligence of those who disagree with you.

Your behavior speaks volumes about the mindset of those who want so very badly to keep people from supporting Palin.

If you think some of us are going to blindly support the (R), you’ve for another thing coming. And you can blame those who put party first- not those of us who are tired of being stabbed in the back the GOP/RNC.

Yes, the American people have been continually stabbed in the back by the Statist RINOs. I can only smile at all the PDSers. They are getting more hysterical the closer we get to Sarah's announcement that she WILL be running.

Sarah clearly sees the path to victory. She will run a campaign that will astound the elites and destroy the RATS. Sarah clearly is focused on the enemy -- the Rats, the RINOs and all the other pompous metro-sexual elites that fill the sewer that is D.C.

Americans of both parties have little faith in Congress -- Sarah knows this and will go on the attack, equally against the RINOs and RATS. Most Americans will hear her common sense and agree.

Most Americans are focused on our dying economy. Sarah will ignite the hope of most Americans by passionately presenting the truth that Americans set free from the chains of government, will bring our economy roaring back again. She will speak from the heart and with a tenacity that will give confidence to Americans that she will follow through.

I knew of Sarah before 08. I have met Sarah Palin. I have read both her books. What Sarah has that ALL the others running do not have is charisma. She has a gift that allows her to connect to people and touch what is good inside. She inspires all who listen to her with an open mind.

Sarah is genuine and truly has a servants heart. What she also has is a confidence, a relentless drive and a fearlessness that all the other candidates lack.

Soon after Sarah announces, what she needs from all her followers is money. I am ready to give the maximum amount. If she can garner a huge war chest in ten days of announcing it will announce to the enemies in D.C. that we are coming for them in 2012.

I still say she has her real eye on the Senate and running for Jon Kyle's seat when he resigns in 2012. Why else would she move into Arizona right down the road from McNuts?

Because that's what people do who live in northern climates. The time to buy in AZ is now, the home prices are incredibly cheap.
