Please. This doesn’t have anything to do with Fund. You’re cocked and primed to attack anybody who suggests that Palin might not be the next president, for whatever reason. If he’d written that Palin was likely to run and might very well win, would he still be an idiot? I don’t theenk so.

Since you seem to know about them, what is the plan for converting the “Organizing for Palin” groups, which are not under FEC rules, into Palin for President organizations, which would be under the federal election rules? Have those groups already been tracking all the money as if it is hard money? Or did they have to?

I’ve always thought that one of the big problems of mounting a presidential bid is that you have to be meticulous about the money, which is why candidates set up “exploratory” committees — not because they need to “explore”, but because that is the only way they can ensure that their organizations meet the FEC rules when they actually announce.
