We've been getting winds and thundershowers in the Redneck Riviera (Northwest Florida). Nothing really bad.

I shouldn't laugh but I have a friend who flew from his condo in SoBe to his north Jersey home for the earthquake, traveled down to his house in Long beach Island just in time for Irene ... and landed in New Orleans on Thursday

He's either become a secret agent for FEMA or someone to consult before scheduling a vacation

Steady drizzle here in Mobile interrupted by an occassional heavy downpour. It's starting to get pretty soggy here now. I hear heavy thunder way off in the distance from time to time.

Thanks for your reporting, NN.

thanks for pings NN. On watch with you all for safety and hoping for a miraculous swerve to the west so OK & TX might get a bit of that moisture.
