Would have been awesome! Well, for the drought anyway.

Yes, and it’s so hard to tell at this point.

Radar rainfall estimates.

The entire delta region is over 4" - some areas approaching 8". Heavy bands now getting into Mobile, Pensacola and all the way back to Panama City.

Stay safe, that is a lot of water.

Hydrological center is saying my corner of Texas will get about .5 - 1" of rain, which will be fine by me. Thankfully there was a little westward wobble of the storm center during night, otherwise, I think we would have been dry. A few miles to the west of us hasn't got any, and are not expecting any rain.

thanks for pings NN. On watch with you all for safety and hoping for a miraculous swerve to the west so OK & TX might get a bit of that moisture.

Up in North Central Louisiana. We’re actually benefitting from the rain. We need about five more inches, lol.

Update: it looks like the remnants of Lee may be visiting Vermont later this week with 2 to six more inches of rain on top of the rain Irene left behind. Mind you; Vermont is CURRENTLY under a flood warning for 2 to 4 inches TONIGHT from a small but nasty complex of storms that are covering most of the state right at the moment. Perhaps Zero could stop by to calm the waters...
