Governor Perry 's Islam Connection (The Truth)
RightSide News ^ | Aug 31, 2011 | Amil Imani

Posted on 08/31/2011 8:34:30 PM PDT by Clairity

The news of Governor Rick Perry jumping into the Republican nomination race for President, released a media tsunami that assaulted my brain. In no time at all, people came up with a long list of negatives about him. In a democracy, honest and thorough scrutiny of anyone's records seeking a public office is not only the prerogative of the electorate, but it is its duty.

Unless someone can come up with solid evidence to the contrary, I feel relieved that Governor Perry is not an Islamophile, he is not even an Islamic apologist, and he can be entrusted with the responsibility of guarding our nation's priceless heritage of liberty against the assaults of Islamic fascism.

He’s aligned himself with the least violent denomination of islam. That way he signals to muzzies I’m open for discussion (votes) and to non-muzzies that I don’t totally buy into islam (he’s conservative). He’s a consumate politician.
Israel has to give the award to somebody, to keep the hope alive. They’ve been playing this game as long as anyone. Secularism in our govt and schools is killing this country. It makes anything relative, in the end.

Dry up sonny. Paul and his little pal mittens are the two most idiotic people ever to even come close to running for prez. But you muslim/illegal lovers keep at it, others here remember what they have done to this Country. This old timer says get some time in on the planet before you go farting off your liberal muslim/illegal loving perrynista crap here.

What’s Sarah Palin’s opinion of Islam? Or couldn’t she find a Reagan quote on the subject?

From the article:

And Perry’s stance on other Islam issues speaks for itself. When Perry was questioned about building a mosque near ground-zero in New York, for instance, he said, “To build a mosque near Ground Zero would be insensitive to the victims and families of 9/11 and would make the healing process much more difficult for everyone that was touched by this tragedy. I’m a big believer in freedom of religion but believe it would be best for all involved to put the facility elsewhere. However, zoning is a local responsibility and as a staunch supporter of the 10th Amendment, I do not think the federal government should take steps to intercede or overrule the wishes of local residents. The citizens of New York City will decide the fate of this building.”

Trying to figure out just who you support for POTUS and it seems you bash Perry here, bash Palin on a Palin thread and bash Bachmann. The only ones you ain’t doing a cutie thing on is Mutt, jonboy, ronpaul and nobama. Do we get three guesses and the first two don’t count? My guess is nobama or ronpaul.

Go away shi’te stirring du troll.

If you had read the article, you would know that the author answers the “in bed with” CAIR question.

I believe that any person who acknowledges the Koran as their law cannot acknowledge the USA Constitution as the basis of law applying to them. The Koran is the head of the Muslim Trojan horse being in the USA.

Good God, this twin cancer of islam and the mexican illegal criminal invaders is/are destroying our country!....and some younger easily fooled FReepers think it is okay!!

Nailed it. It matters not what RINO Mitt Perry does or says his band of apologists are always looking for new ways of defending his abysmal record. It's not a matter of misinterpretation, Perry is a pro-ILLEGAL alien, pro-amnesty establishment Republican RINO that much is clear. They just don't seem to care.

The muslim lovers here will never get it MM.

Yeah, FR is the veritible tip of the spear of the Dar al Harb. I'm surprised they don't make us post in Arabic.

Same with the ricardo hussien perrynista’s illegal lovers here on FR.

Or Spanish.

This ancient old boy has seen a bit.....but never anything like the support for an illegal loving, in bed with the terrorist front group, c.a.i.r., candidate from folks here that should know better. Good God, this twin cancer of islam and the mexican illegal criminal invaders is/are destroying our country!....and some younger easily fooled FReepers think it is okay!!

A+ for effort on the Archie Bunker-as-Methuselah routine. I'm sure you're too crusty and hardcore for any of that thar reason-talk, but I'm going to throw it out there anyway, for the benefit of our lurker friends.

Why is Texas the only state where the governor is somehow responsible for securing the Federal border? No other governor in the history of the Southwest has been able to do the Federal government's job. How does Perry take more heat for this than Barack Obama, who is the actual chief executive. What sense does that make?

The CAIR connection was long ago debunked. The 'Islamic indoctrination for Texas teachers' was about the same level of PC crap that your average Army unit gets on Muslim culture. Which is to say, not pro-sharia. The idea (to say nothing of the evidence) that the governor of Texas is a terrorist sympathizer is so weak that I'm amazed anyone with the wherewithal to log in and post would fall for it.

The reason more people aren't outraged by his alleged border jumping jihad is that he's simply not the Supreme Ayatollah of Los Illegales. Perry's not perfect by any means, but he's not remotely as bad as you're making him out to be.

You know the crux of the matter is that the bobbies out there are skeered. I know few Texans who are so intimidated. We’re exposed to all minorities. Heck, it’s the Anglos who are the minority. To say that we can behave as prigs in this new reality is other-planet thinking. We have contracepted ourselves right out of existence but want to throw our weight around like we’re in charge of the hen house. Not any more. If we can not intuitively deal with the facts as they are, make lemonade out of lemons, it seems to me we only forward the clock on our own demise. I mean, what is the alternative?

OK. Now tell us why the Bilderberg New World Order types have picked Perry.
I thought we wanted a All-American, pro-American, constitutional conservative, not a contest between a Rockefeller RINO vs. a Bilderberg RINO fair boy.
I’m not voting for a McCain or a Bush or a Dole or a Bush again. I don’t think that a lot of people who voted for GOP candidates in November want RINOs. We want patriotic Americans who know that the Muslims are here to kill us.

Well, I hear what you're saying. We need to get better at assimilating people. We used to be better. It happens on it's own over time, but a confident culture does it faster. We've lost a lot of the reflexive America-is-great confidence we used to have, and people sense it.

The tough talk is great if there's a plan. If the plan is 'kill em all', then forget it. Most American's aren't going to go for that, and if that's all you're selling, then you're selling defeat.

How much do people really believe in conservative values? If those values are universal, then we need to stay confident and sell them. Anglos aren't the only people who want economic freedom and God given rights as individuals. Otherwise, this whole American experiment is a lost cause on borrowed time.

Assimilation! Dang! That was the word I needed badly as I posted elsewhere a few days ago! Assimiliation is dead on. Actually, it’s dead isn’t it? What you say above is very important. Thanks. It is so true! And it sure beats my awful and secular approach of an “intuitive” construction. I do know, of course, you are absolutely right and wish I had said it. A “confident culture” is also apt in problem solving. You must be a professor of some rank. Thanks. %:D
