Palin’s Saturday Speech Still On, Tea Party Founder Says

Sarah Palin has not canceled her keynote speech for the Tea Party of America’s Saturday rally in Indianola, Iowa, according to the event’s organizers.

Ken Crow, the founder of the Tea Party of America, told ABC News this morning that he “hung up with [Palin's] people five minutes ago” and “she’ll be here on Saturday.”

“Gov. Palin is a lady of her word and impeccably honest,” he added. He admitted that the organization’s encountered “a couple of errors” in planning the Sept. 3 rally.

“I’m naive when it comes to politics and what you are supposed to say to and not say and my crew and I are rookies at this sort of thing,” he said. “We made mistakes and now we are fixing them. It’s all good.”

So according to the Tea Party event organizers, apparently Sarah put her speech “on hold” until she the Tea Party agreed to 3 requests. Two of the requests seemed to be minor, but apparently the third request was that they “uninvite” Christine O’Donnell. Now why would Sarah get her panties in such a twist over sharing the stage with O’Donnell? After all, she endorsed O’Donnell in 2010. Does Sarah feel that she made a mistake in endorsing O’Donnell and doesn’t want to remind anyone of that? Or is she just piqued about having to share the stage with someone else?

Nobody cares about when Perry is going to show at a rally or if he might cancel. He just shows up or not and hopes to be a side note in the days news and wishes upon a star that everyone would hype up about his comings and goings like they do Mrs. Palin. Then he might have an actual shot at winning.

I have been ACTIVELY involved in politics since my Daddy sat me down and made me watch the 1968 dim convention in Chicago and explained to me who the enemies were and what exactly we were fighting for and against.
