Myrtle Beach on Monday, Sept. 5. Following the format of his previous town halls with presidential candidates, Rep. Scott will take questions from the live audience as well as from online Facebook followers, allowing as many voters as possible to ask Gov. Perry a question.
“I am proud to welcome Gov. Perry to Myrtle Beach to meet our voters,” said Rep. Scott. “Since his announcement speech in Charleston just over two weeks ago, the governor has excited our electorate, and I look forward to continuing that conversation.”
“I am thankful to Rep. Scott for inviting me to participate in such an important conversation with the people of South Carolina,” said Gov. Perry. “Our country cannot afford four more years the current administration’s irresponsible and devastating spending policies, and I look forward to sharing my plans to pull our economy out of this financial mess and get America working again.”
The location within Myrtle Beach will be announced shortly. The Town Hall will begin at 10 am ET and will last for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Doors will open at 9 am, with seating on a first-come, first-served basis. Gov. Perry is the third candidate to participate in Rep. Tim Scott’s “First in the South” Presidential Town Hall Series, which brings 2012 republican presidential candidates to South Carolina for a discussion with grassroots voters.
The series is cosponsored by the Berkeley County GOP, the Beaufort County GOP, the Carolina Patriots, the Charleston County Republican Party, the Charleston Tea Party, the Dorchester County Republican Party, the Georgetown County Republican Party, the Georgetown Patriots, the Goose Creek 9/12, the Horry County Republican Party, the Mount Pleasant 9/12, the Myrtle Beach Tea Party, and the Summerville 9/12.
“Our country is ready for new leadership in the White House. Our Town Hall Series is one step in that direction,” said Rep. Scott. “South Carolina has chosen every Republican nominee since Ronald Reagan, so it is important that we get it right.”

But it is nice to see at least one of the fine candidates we have working with Mr. Scott.
Again, I am not endorsing Rick....I am still open to most of our Republican candidates. I just wanted to give a heads up to everyone about this event.
Democrats aren’t going to be targeting much of anything in SC. Scott doesn’t have an announced opponent, or even a speculative one at this point.
Black Conservatives give lie to the canard we Conservatives are all racist and show other blacks they can escape the Liberal plantation.
Note also in the same vein how Liberals attack Palin, Bachmann, et. al., with a special venom despite Liberal claims they are champions of the advancement of women.
Both black and female Conservatives must be utterly destroyed as they represent a clear and present danger to the Liberal hegemony over those 2 groups.

YOu seem to be lost again. That happens to you a lot, doesn’t it. This is a thread about Rick Scott’s labor day town hall, not a thread for you to spam with the exact same text you’ve put in other threads that were also not about that subject.
That 1993 letter was fully discussed in a thread that was actually about it. Posting it all over the place after it has already been exhaustively ridiculed is just annoying to those who want to use a thread to discuss the topic of the thread.
If you really think it’s so important to repeat yourself, post it in a vanity and see where it gets you. Generate your own threads, don’t hijack everybody else’s threads.
Over-hyped, Under-vetted, the object of blind worship, pushing government health solutions on the citizens, seeking to take over transportation, a large government slush fund for promoting preferred businesses, willing to sell sensitive industries to China, with questionable ties to Muslims, promoting pro-choice candidates in 2008, and with dubious allegiances to other countries.

That was just two months after Clinton took office, 6 months before Hillary's congressional testimony and 8 months before a bill was introduced.
Anyone can read the letter.
He was doing the duty of the office to which he was elected. It was not advocacy or praise for what came out of the task force or the legislation in congress.
Which declared candidate do you support, grey?
Otherwise, tossup, Cain or Bachmann.

I like Cain...private sector experience as an executive. Bachmann is great on issues, but I think we need an executive and/or governor in the White House. That was one big reason I supported Romney in the last cycle. Legislators usually don’t make good Presidents.
