In a letter to Clinton about Hillarycare in 1993 , Perry wrote:

“I think your efforts in trying to reform the nation’s health care system are most commendable.”

“I would like to request that the task force give particular consideration to the needs of the nation’s farmers, ranchers, and agriculture workers, and other members of rural communities,” Perry continued, noting his administration’s focus on economic development for rural Texans.

“Rural populations have a high proportion of uninsured people, rising health care costs, and often experience lack of services.”

“Again, your efforts are worthy,” Perry concluded, ”and I hope you will remember this constituency as the task force progresses.”

YOu seem to be lost again. That happens to you a lot, doesn’t it. This is a thread about Rick Scott’s labor day town hall, not a thread for you to spam with the exact same text you’ve put in other threads that were also not about that subject.

That 1993 letter was fully discussed in a thread that was actually about it. Posting it all over the place after it has already been exhaustively ridiculed is just annoying to those who want to use a thread to discuss the topic of the thread.

If you really think it’s so important to repeat yourself, post it in a vanity and see where it gets you. Generate your own threads, don’t hijack everybody else’s threads.

As Texas Agriculture Commissioner, Perry wrote on April 6, 1993, to ask Hillary to keep the challenges to rural communities, farmers and ranchers in mind as the task force developed ideas on healthcare reform.

That was just two months after Clinton took office, 6 months before Hillary's congressional testimony and 8 months before a bill was introduced.

Anyone can read the letter.

He was doing the duty of the office to which he was elected. It was not advocacy or praise for what came out of the task force or the legislation in congress.
