I've written before about Texas Gov. Rick Perry's close attachment to Israel. It's not every politician who mentions Israel in his kickoff speech or goes to the attorney general to encourage him to use legal means to disrupt an assault on the Jewish state (in this case, the second flotilla).
Perry has been a consistent critic of President Obama's Israel policy. In May he issued this press release in response to Obama's Arab Spring speech: âPresident Obama's speech today continues a misguided policy of alienating our traditional allies, in this case Israel, one of our strongest partners in the war on terror. As someone who has visited Israel numerous times, I know that it is impracticable to revert to the 1967 lines. President Obama is asking our Israeli friends to give up too much security and territory as a prelude to a renewed peace process.â

Perry ping
yes.
Yep. Perry really is a friend of Israel.
What a coincidence -- so is Juan McCain.
And both men are RINOs.
McCain is a friend to Israel? I’ll be.
But.. but..
Some Freepers told me he is a backer of Islam!
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.
He’s a RON PAUL supporter. That might tell you something. We all know PAUL does not support aiding Isreal.
Perry is a great friend of Israel. Obama has been incredibly hostile to Israel. Yet Jews will still vote 80% + for Obama. Republican still = Hitler.
Can you post the corndog stick one for the Romneybots?
He really should be wearing safety glasses. ARs are so dirty and all...
Who, South is for Paul?
By looking at his older posts. Seems so.
That makes sense. He’s definitely got a screw loose or something. Maybe he’s high when he argues. : )
Lol. You can also go look into his history and see who he pings who are his cohorts. Quite informative.
Looking better and better.
In our conversation, McCain took a vociferously hard line on Iran (and a similarly hard line on Senator Obama's understanding of the challenge posed by Iran). He accused Iran of not only seeking the destruction of Israel, but of sponsoring terrorist groups - Hamas and Hezbollah - that are bent on the destruction of the United States. And he said that the defense of Israel is a central tenet of American foreign policy.
I'd post the link but I know you wouldn't read it. You prefer to remain uninformed/ignorant.
