Just wanted to clarify the terms of the bet.

Five to one odds for the both of you, meaning I'm in for $100 x 2 ($100 for each of you), and you're both in for $20 a piece. All to be donated to FreeRepublic. If we need confirmation we can get it from the FR treasurer.

I will be generous and say that if she doesn't announce and does not run for President you're both off the hook.

The focus of the bet is whether or not Sarah Palin wins the nomination for President of the United States on the Republican ticket. If anyone OTHER than Sarah Palin is nominated, I win. If Sarah Palin is the nominee, you both win.

Totally acceptable terms to me.

Just a heads up though, I will be sending cash by snail mail so it’ll take a week or so for the treasurer to confirm it should I lose the wager.
