AM / FM radio seemed to be effected for a period of time. Back to full coverage currently, no outages of AM / FM stations.

I was eating lunch in a restaurant in King of Prussia, PA
the whole place was shaking
although it was all over pretty quick, maybe 20 or 30 sec?
but everyone knew or suspected immediately, we were all saying “wow that must have been an earthquake” although it wasn’t violent enough for stuff to fall off tables etc.
I think we are maybe 150 miles northeast of the epicenter??

Usually takes a while for damage assessment. Hope it is slight.

Was an interesting challenge for us Verizon customers. Social networks on land lines were all good for communication.

Was in Surf City on Long Beach Island in New Jersey along the shore at the time. Funny, but just before, I noticed that dogs were barking which is something I never hear.

Cause as soon as I knew it was an earthquake I called her. I got that rapid busy signal when its out.

You and millions of other people living on the east coast, or who even know anyone who lives on the east coast. Phone service wasn’t “out” because of the earthquake, but because everyone needed to reach out and touch someone.
I heard on the radio that little (population-wise) Howard County’s emergency center got about 750 911 calls in just a few minutes -— people phoning to say they felt something! Good grief!
