Add Karl Rove to the list of people Sarah Palin's camp is denouncing.
POLITICO's Juana Summers flags this statement from the Sarah PAC website, which - without naming him - takes an unmistakable swipe at the former White House adviser to George W. Bush:
Three years ago DC pundits predicted with glee the demise of Sarah Palin's political career. This past weekend their tune changed, citing false information that she has made a decision and set a date regarding a future campaign.
Any professional pundit claiming to have "inside information" regarding Governor Palin's personal decision is not only wrong but their comments are specifically intended to mislead the American public. These are the same tired establishment political games that fuel the 24 hour news cycle and that all American's will hopefully reject in 2012, and this is more of the "politics-as-usual" that Sarah Palin has fought against throughout her career.
PS - Kudos to CNN for setting the record straight, and including Governor Palin's own words.
Rove had said on Fox News last weekend that he believed Palin was running, based in part on her schedule in Iowa (as best as I can tell she only has the one, large-scale event in Des Moines scheduled, for Sept. 3).
Peter Hamby of CNN noted earlier that there is not exactly a river of trust between Palin and Rove, but the public pushback was a bit of a surprise.
Keep 'em guessing ..! In God's time and your time.
Ping!

Karl ‘Porky Pig Face’ Rove is just worried that he won’t be invited to the cocktail parties in DC after Sarah is elected.
The CNN article she praised
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2011/08/22/will-palin-be-in-by-labor-day-i-doubt-it/
The article seems to hint that she's NOT running.
This is going to be a tough few weeks for her water carriers.
Must have been that pig from Charlotte’s Web in that 4H Exhibition Hall (”Some Pig”). Obviously all those folks weren’t there to see Palin.
“lost in the Rove buzz is the reality that he and the former Alaska governor are not exactly close. “
No chit
Alright Palin get in or get out of the way. This country is just months of having a fiscal stroke and it is likely fatal. This is serious and if your serious Palin stop the BS tease. We don’t have the time for this crap.
Sarah Palin is likely to run for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination and doesn’t want anyone to believe that Karl Rove was in any was privy to ‘secret’ information if she announces next month. Rove is exactly the kind of cynical political insider that Palin opposes, which probably generated Palin’s push-back on Rove’s supposed prescience.
Yeah, we don’t really go for name calling here on FR (even if it is true.)
But just be patient. Sarah is driving the media crazy, and we should be loving it, not attacking each other.
a pr*ck w/ears, period
It really is a sight to behold how this private citizen (at least for now) drives people like you, Karl Rove, and Demokrats crazy. Nice company you keep.
I think you’re right.
Amen.
We can be sure she’s praying heavily on it.
It’s a forever life changing decision.
A deliberate attempt by Karl the Karrot to sour voters on the only choice we have in 2012.
Yeah, we dont really go for name calling here on FR (even if it is true.)
