Why the media likely ignores presidential hopeful Ron Paul

Why is the American media so intent on ignoring congressman Ron Paul and his prickly libertarian views?
Paul is running for president in the Republican primaries, and it's plain that the handmaidens of the political establishment Democrats as well as Republicans are freezing him out.
He came within a few votes of winning last week's Iowa straw poll, just 152 votes short among almost 17,000 cast.
But rather than shower this intriguing candidate and his views with attention, the news media willfully forgot about him. The question is, why?
Perhaps the answer could be found during the recent Fox News debate in Iowa, in which Paul trashed Republican saber-rattling toward a potentially nuclear Iran.
"They're building up this case like, just like we did in Iraq build up the war propaganda," Paul said. "It's time we quit this. It's time it's trillions of dollars we're spending on these wars."

The thing with Paul is that he’s good at cracking one-liners during debates but cannot give an articulate one-on-one interview.

It wouldn’t surprise me if it wasn’t Paul’s pit bull like attitude towards the Fed, as Fed policy will make or break BOs re-election. For all his goofiness and fringe appeal, he’s Toto, pulling at the Wizards curtain, but like good Muzzie wannabeez, the MSM is kicking the dog.

What irks me about these articles about media coverage of Ron Paul is that so many freepers rush in and say "Well, Ron Paul is like a crazy uncle"
Well isn't he?
or "He hasn't got a chance anyway".
Well does he?
What Republican in his right mind would vote for some crack head who blames 9/11 on America? Who would vote for someone who thinks getting rid of OBL was a bad idea, or putting gays in the military is a good one? Why would any true Republican want anybody who blames every problem in the world on America?

The left complains Paul isn’t getting coverage yet refuses to cover him.
Jon Stewart hasn’t had him on his show this season.

You notice it is the leftists who want more coverage for the surrender monkey. Why doesn't he just run as a democrat like he should. His principles and followers are much more aliened with the leftists in the dimwit party.

The Constitution is good enough for ms as well.
I just use the word libertarian (notice the lower case “L”) to describe my political philosophy.
I find the Libertarian party to be completely lacking.
