President Barack Obama, who political experts say will need a win in Pennsylvania to retain the White House, dipped to 35 percent approval among the state's registered voters, according to a Muhlenberg College poll released Friday.
The results come on the heels of a bad week in polls for Obama that showed him first dropping to 39 percent nationwide in Gallup's daily tracking poll. Then another set of Gallup results Thursday showed only 26 percent of Americans approve of how Obama is handling the economy.
These numbers are a huge blow to Obama who won the state handily in 2008, and a significant drop in just a few weeks from when Quinnipiac University polled Pennsylvania voters and found the president with 43 percent job approval.

Without economic prosperity, there are no construction jobs for the working guy, and with the way the Dow has been doing, the retired guys are worrying about their pensions and/or IRAs. Or, to borrow a phrase "It's the economy, stupid!"
The Rasmussen poll shows O in his eleventh day of -20 or below, with his popularity keeping in step with the economic news.
That is factually incorrect. Baucus could have brought his bill to the floor with or without Snowe’s vote. The Dems then had a 13-8 majority on the Senate Finance Committee. Snowe’s vote was immaterial.
Snowe and every other Republican voted against cloture and againt Obamacare. McConnell did an outstanding job holding his caucus together.
Very well put.
Meanwhile, the command center at the Vineyard turns to CRISIS MODE as: “What do you mean you’re all out of arugula?!?”
There is already talk that Biden will be cashiered and sent over to the State Dept and Hillary will be installed as VP at the convention to shore up support from the base and from women.
Obama Issues Executive Order on Diversity. He's essentially ordering all federal depts to increase hiring of "diversities", which means that white, straight, males go to the bottom of the hiring pile.
With the help of the media, this will be a close election.

With the help of the media..... the Blacks, illegal Mexicans,
Union Thugs, Chicago-style-Election-Stealing Thugs, Philadelphia’s intimidating Black Panthers, white trash Rednecks who’ve been on the dole for 4 generations, the gays, the baby-killers......I’d say he has a lot of help. You are correct; THE 2012 ELECTION WILL BE CLOSE!!!
Enjoyed what you had to say. But, See my Post #48. There will be no Landslide. We will have to work our butts off just to get a win.
Somehow I think Hussein would feel safer playing a game of catch with a bottle of nitro with the Muslim Bruthu-hood.
Sorry, I thought that cloture could have been prevented but Maine rino voted to allow vote.
Agreed. I follow his official schedule each day. Rarely does he begin a day before 10 am. Rarely does he put in over 3 hours of actual work in a single day. And rarely does he actually sit in a meeting for more than 30 minutes. He is far and away the laziest President this nation has ever had. Obama likes being President; he just doesn't like doing President.
IMO, all the cash in the world can’t get the stench of feces off the “Wannabe King.”
Obama won because there was voter shenanigans in Philly. When you get 100+% of the registered voters voting, there is something wrong. Also, the 8 years of Bush-bashing convinced some of the electorate that change was necessary.
Murtha won because he always brought home the bacon, so much that the GOP never ran a strong opponent against him. (FYI, the district was so heavily gerrymandered as to make it virtually impossible for a Republican to win. This will change in next redistricting.)
Murtha's clone won by demagoging his opponent as wanting to add a 23% sales tax along with income tax. And he enjoyed a gerrymandered district.
PA does go conservative from time to time. Typically, the governor switches from D to R and back every 8 years or so. And the union folks and rednecks are pissed at the jerk in half-white hut that they will vote against him.
Finally, PA has been a swing state for some time. There is always huge amounts of money being spent here to convince the masses. I would bet that more was spent in PA in '08 than in CA and NY combined. Don't write us off yet.
PS: Where in Shangri-la do you live?
Thank you for the information on the Obama Executive Order on ‘diversity’
LOL!
...wonder if they polled likely voters?
good for him.
Any chance that Casey could lose with Obama atop the ticket? I’d like to see Santorum drop out and run for his old seat..
