I’ve been saying this for weeks now, but my reasononing is that as it becomes more and more obvious that comrade zero will lose worse than fritz mondale, all of the corrupt unemployable scumbag dhim politicians who normally ride the coattails will want to get as far away as possible.

To all of you poo pooing this article, consider that he may bow out for just the reasons you say he won't. Once it becomes clear that he will LOSE, he will not run. He can bow out a winner in his own mind. He didn't lose, he retired. He accomplished all his goals in his first term so no need to run for a second. (LIES of course, but what's new about that). Better to bow out with dignity than to be THROWN OUT in a landslide, (what would that do to his self esteem?).

BUT........ The real reason is closer to post #3. Sept 14th the U.S. District Court, District of Hawaii (Hawaii)
CIVIL DOCKET FOR CASE #: 1:11-mc-00158-SOM -RLP, will REQUIRE the state of Hawaii to allow Orly Taitz and her forensic team to examine Barack Obama’s birth records.

Game, set, match! No more “standing” issue, no more “privacy” issue, no more “state laws” issues. The jig is up! (jig is an Irish reference).

They will be ordered to comply with the lawful subpoenas that they were served with, IMMEDIATELY.

Obama is far too narcissistic not to run for reelection. Even if he wavered, his boss Soros wouldn’t hear of his declining another four years.

Obama pull an LBJ and call it a day? Never happen.

LBJ quit running because he was not going to win his own primary.

He already was facing challengers, if he had thought, for even a moment, that he would have won the primary, he would have taken his chances.

Zero has made sure there will be no primary challenger, no one will dare try and run against him, if they do so, the punishment would be so severe, their political career would be destroyed as well as that of anyone who worked for them or with them or supported them.

Zero has already started running for re-election, he won't stop, until we make him stop.

One thing I see - something tangible has changed in the last month or so - I think the fake credit rating debt ceiling “crisis” caused the bloom to fall off the rose and the wizard to step out from behind the curtain.

It’s not that *everything* has changed - the media is still the media, the freeloaders are still the freeloaders - but *something* has changed.

How this will all play out will be fascinating to watch.

I think his ego will not allow him to reject a second run. And who is going to run who will poll better? Reid? Pelosi? Biden? Jay Carney? Everyone talks about the weak lineup the Republicans offer but the Democrat field should Obama step down is even worse.

The one exception might be Hillary with Bill doing most of the talking. But then we’d have to examine Hillary’s job as Secretary of State where she seems to have bungled most of her assignments in the Middle East and elsewhere. Only the faint glow of the 1990s economy would give her credibility and that was an illusion anyway.

No, Obama is fundraising like crazy *because* he expects and wants to be re-elected. I just don’t see him stepping down and I don’t see anyone else in the party with the muscle to make him step aside.

One thing I think needs changing is to take away the GOP-Grand OLD Party. It isn’t grand anymore and it is truly OLD as dirt. Wish someone would come up with something new to replace this since it is only descriptive of who we run at the top of the ticket- old ineffective Congressmen who think it is their right to be on the ticket.

Does he get to keep his campaign money if he doesn’t run? If so, he might just take the money and run. I still don’t think he likes to work hard. Then, watch for Hillary with Ron Paul as a third party candidate running as a conservative to split the Republican vote.

Re the linked article's dancing around the crux of it all, let's get this straight, shall we ?

In spite of being a communist fraud and puppet buttboy with no verifiable background, experience, or qualifications,
Øbama moved into 1600 only by 'virtue' of being (half) black.

His handlers cynically assessed the political climate and cashed in on:

1) idiotic white guilt
2) rampant black racism
3) massive electoral fraud
4) a voting population, a large % of whom are functionally illiterate or emotionally retarded or both.

End of.
