Well I thought most everyone did well except for Pawlenty. I thought Mickey B hold her ground. Gingrich said what I think everyone was thinking. THE ONE CLEAR LOSER OF THE NIGHT WAS CHRIS WALLACE. Huntsman was atleast able to present himself but I dont think he catches on. I’m not sure Harmain Cain did what he needed to do. He’s in second tier and I dont see him making it into the first tier especially with Perry getting in. Santorum did OK but no real punch and spent for time battling Paul than Romney. It kind of reminded me of how Guliani would get into battles with Paul in 2008 rather than battling McCain or Romney. The debates will be more frequent now that we head into the fall and we will see clearer winners as folks probably go after Romney somewhat.

Hope a couple of candidates who actually have a chance to win are in by the Sept. 22nd debate.

What surprised me most was their take on Perry....”Saturday will be his best day”. That certainly doesn't fit the narrative being promoted by the rest of Fox News.

So tired of the phonies and the children - waiting for the adult to enter the room.

Palin, still “The Undefeated”.

So good she didn’t even have to show up to win.

Newt was definitely the full on winner. The loser was FOX. The moderators were absolutely pathetic.

And we conservatives will just keep getting raped by moderators because every single republican debate will be moderated by loser liberals who want only to play gotcha. Why don’t we ever organize our own debates with true conservatives as moderators?? Why??

Like most of you, I’d not vote for newt for Pres, but he cleaned up tonight, slamming our enemy in the room, the MSM. He was on fire and deserves kudos.

My next favorite is Cain, and Bachmann after him. Then maybe Santorum.

“I hope that Mike Gallagher poses some tough questions to Chris Wallace tomorrow on his radio segment with him. Wallace needs to be held accountable for his disgusting behavior tonight. His smirking haughtiness has always been annoying but Wallace’s performance during the debate has crossed a boundary.”

I QUITE agree. Hey, I don’t get Mike Gallagher here - will you let me know how his show goes with Wallace on tomorrow? Hope he’ll really hold CW’s feet to the fire. (Wonder if there’s a link I could hear it.)

Thanks!

Agreed, Cain is brilliant and would do a good job up against Obama.

We need someone to win who will aggressively fight to undo all of the things Obama has done to hurt this country. Did those of you who watched the debate sense that any one of the candidates has the personality and aggressiveness to do this?

Never had any dealings with Huntsman Chemical, nor junior.

When my wife was in Huntsman Medical Center getting a chemo treatment, Jon Sr. walked up and told her the story of why he built the center, and why he put the transfusion/chemo room in an amphitheater arrangement, so the patients could observe the wildlife and mountainside above the University of Utah Medical Center property.

He built the cancer center because he loved his wife. He talked to us for a half hour... he’d been there, he’d done that, he was as absolutely real as any human I’ve ever met. There were no dry eyes when that conversation ended.

Drudge got his marching orders down pat, too.

Top Headline: “The Bachmann, Romney Show”

Was Romney there tonight?

Maybe, but Romney has enough money to ride through tough spots. His record will come up and if we can get the right candidate in the end, America will surpass the amount needed to take him down.

Lot’s of factors play into this and getting that marxist out of DC is job one. If that is in jeopardy then it will be very tough to get a much more qualified “Conservative” into the WH.

Bret B disrespected Gov Sarah Palin repeatedly today. Prior to the debate he disrespected her by refusing to call her Governor Palin, and during the debate referred to her as only Sarah Palin.

He said Gov Perry and Sarah Palin. He said..Congress woman Bachman, is Sarah Palin stealing your thunder? She went on to answer with an untruth IMHO by saying they are friends, but that is for another day.

Bret B referred to Pawlenty as Gov, Romney as Gov, called Bachmann Congress woman, but will not call Sarah Palin Gov Palin.

He disrespected her!
