Funny how these threads feel like roller coaster rides going from high to low and back again.
If the Rats do take the Senate, all it would do is obstruct any more reforms. The Assembly is overwhelmingly GOP. It would give the libtards momentum to recall Walker and for 2012 elections.
(...and it predated my FR sign-up, so I might never have seen it without this.)
Cheers!
Anyone familiar with Fond Du Lac? has yet to post..dem or rep district??
None whatsoever.
These election night threads always make me nervous!
I Stand with Scott Walker: facebook
Luther Olsen was just officially declared the winner!! The Republicans have now won 3/6 races, the other 3 have yet to be called.
I hope this is correct.
I’m a pessimist by nature.....but I dont’ mind being rong in this case.
It will be a blow to the left and have national ramifications.
No precincts reported in Fond Du Lac in Hopper-King race. That went heavy Walker in 2010. That should help. 50 precincts there.
Yes Live threads are always roller coasters...
How vulnerable are the 2 dims who are up for recall next week?
Walker won Fon Du Lac County 24,407 to 13,145. Not sure how that breaks down in that particular district, though.
Any info you can share on how this might affect your state?
He was the GOP nominee for House of Representatives vs Ron Kind (D) RAT bastard socialist demoRAT who votes solid liberal and somehow portrays himself as moderate and enough of the ignorant voters buy it. In any case, Kapanke campaigned largely in the Nov 2010 for the House seat, but still ran for his current WI state senate seat.
my stomach has been turning since Saturday and i am from the embarrassing state of NY...
McCain won the county in 2008 with 54% of the vote. But not all of this county is in District 18.
Dude - calm down...you need to understand which counties have reported. Darling is down because Milwaukee had reporting close to 60% of the vote. Waukesha, which is heavily Republican, has not even reported 1 precinct.
Darling wins this in the end.
The rats will get just the one seat of Kanpake.
Kind of like accidents. You can’t keep your eyes off them, but are afraid of what you’ll see. :)
Oh I see. Do senators have a 4 year term? In my state it is only 2, and I think that is the case in many states. So he was elected to the Senate in 2008? As that was a big Demo year with 0bama’s coattails Kapanke must have done a good job at turnout. If he could win in ‘08 you’d think he’d be in a good position now.
