Intentional government set-up to keep citizens defenseless and at the mercy of the Marxists. Why do you think they can’t own guns and protect themselves? Hitler took the guns away also and condition cops into their worldview.

2nd Amendment is to protect personal property and family and England ditched Capitalism for socialism and collectivism years ago and destroyed their Common Law practices....makes them all serfs and slaves of the welfare class and immigrants, whom they are willingly supporting so those communists can destroy all their traditions and way of life...to create a utopia of serfs with no rights whatsoever.

The police are part of the prosecution arm of the state. Their purpose is to prosecute those who contravene state law.

It is not their function to protect citizens of the state, though the police may choose to do this.
