Anyone that would listen to Boehner, Reid, Geithner, Obama and others over Jim DeMint is a fool! DeMint said that we were going to be downgraded with that debt deal so I ran for the hills. Damn, I wish that man was our POTUS/CIC.

The DOW is about where it was in 2000. Not a happy picture for an investor who kept a stock index fund over that period. To succeed, do you have to foresee irrational trends in the markets?

Market was at 10,583 at the beginning of 2010...we're within 250 points of giving back 2010 gains, as well.
We can do that tomorrow...easy.

I remember a few months ago that the stock gurus were saying that DOW 10,800 was some kind of psychological barrier. Here we are again....
