This is an urgent call for your help. No, we're not looking for money - this is far more important than a financial donation.
We have just found out that MoveOn.org is planning on crashing one of our Chapter meetings this coming Wednesday. They are bringing the battle to our turf, and we damn well better be prepared to defend it.
This is only the beginning of the attacks the Tea Party movement will be experiencing as we move forward. MoveOn and other progressive organizations understand that the Tea Party was the only reason the recent debt ceiling increase was not just rubber stamped by Congress. Likewise, the establishment Republicans, who look for our support come every election day, see us as an annoying thorn in their side during the rest of the legislative year. We will be under constant attack from both sides from here on out. Rest assured, if we do not stick together, we will surely be picked off, one group at a time.
Fortunately, The Morristown Tea Party has had the foresight to embark on the Chapter organization initiative. Our influence is now wide spread, our numbers have increased, and we have a framework to mobilize against an attack on our home and our ideals. For those of you who are members of any of our Chapters, wouldn't you want to have a number of groups rallying to your defense? For those who have no Chapter affiliation, here is your chance to help the movement. Understand that an attack on any one of us is an attack on us all. We can count on other Chapter meetings coming under attack as we move forward, so let's get the defensive strategy down right from the start.
We need as many of you as possible to attend this coming meeting in Scotch Plains and not let the meeting be taken over by the liberals. We need the Chapter leaders to mobilize their members to come out. Scotch Plains-Fanwood has excellent leaders and has had great meetings in the past. They will control the meeting, but they need your support.

For those of you who feel that Congressman Lance does not possess the bona fides of a true Tea Party conservative, rest assured that we will let him know we are covering his back this time, but our loyalties are to our principles, and we will primary him should he take us for granted.

I doubt if they will have the balls to actually show up. Last year there were many theats against tea party events that never materialized, at least not to any significant degree. If they do show and they do cause a ruckus, then game on!
What was that our fearless leader said? Oh yeah, “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun”.
The degenerate vegetable dirtbags! They cannot go head-to-head with us on IDEAS and rational ARGUMENTS, so they resort to goon squads.

It will come down to that, as the Union thugs (the NEW "Socialist Workers Party" under the names SEIU, AFSCME, UAW, etc., etc.) will find that the 2nd Amendment was put there for a reason, which is self-defense and protecting Freedom, even as the Union Police Departments and the Federal Government's own military (the FBI, ICE, etc.) refuse to act (such as in Wisconsin).
Plus also a number of tea party gatherings do have “protection” now also, so it does “scare away” any possible trouble.
All I will say is, this will all blow back in the trouble makers faces.
I would be sure that PLENTY of video cameras are present at the event, so as to show what REALLY happened. Goons are very "camera shy".

Remember there were NO problems at the town hall a while back which featured a number of men carrying weapons. No union thugs causing trouble. No one being beaten. It was very orderly, quite polite and free of aggressive leftists. It’s amazing what a few openly displayed AR 15s can accomplish. Arm a few doormen at the Tea Party meeting and I’ll bet “incidents” will be kept to a BARE minimum!
RBW, the writer of the e-mail is right. Tea Parties do need to have a co-ordinated plan of defense as things heat up. We can’t resort to violence, so we do need to brain-storm about effective ways to handle these kinds of situations. Do we always call for help from surrounding Tea Parties? Or, do we call in local law enforcement? Perhaps hire an off duty LEO or two? Do we surround the perps with collective body press? This is something we need to discuss and Tea Parties do need to be ready for anything.

TEA partiers probably have a “higher than average” number of concealed carry permit holders.
I think the moveon types inherently understand this.
Only moveon will be nowhere in sight.
