"are subject to additional error or bias not found in polls conducted over several days

Yeah, like ... people told the truth without being pushed or biased by any media input.

... and the word "about" .. ?

In my opinion, the "about" word is used when the % is larger than they'd like to have, so they use "about" to sort of lessen the impact of, "O shit ... we (commies) are SO outnumbered"

Did this happen just recently? i hope so because i sure don,t see how the socialists got elected in the first place if there are so many conservatives.

Meanwhile, at 41 percent of the population, according to Gallup, self-described conservatives outnumber both Tea Party movement supporters and liberals by nearly 2-to-1.

So, does this indicate conservatives & tea partiers are separate political animals?

TP=21%
Con=41%
TOTAL=62%

Lib=21%

Ind=17%

There was an article posted last night from NYTs about how the TEA party has been decimated and only 18% of the people identify with it. Ha Ha!

The difference is Libtards vote, and a vast majority of Conservatives are too &$€£>< lazy to bother to vote. Add a touch of voter fraud to the mix, and we have a voting 25% who dictate our future. If you can’t manage to bother to vote, you deserve 100% of what you are suffering now.

I vote, and I am suffering. But at least I could find 20 minutes on my way home to cast my ballot. If 40% of so-called Conservatives had found the same time, or voted absentee, we wouldn’t be in this mess.

The Valar withdrew from direct involvement in the affairs of Middle-earth after the defeat of Morgoth, but in later years they sent the wizards or Istari to help in the struggle against Sauron. The most important wizards were Gandalf the Grey and Saruman the White.

Gandalf remained true to his mission and proved crucial in the fight against Sauron. Saruman, however, became corrupted and sought to establish himself as a rival to Sauron for absolute power in Middle-earth.

Other races involved in the struggle against evil were Dwarves, Ents and most famously Hobbits. The early stages of the conflict are chronicled in The Silmarillion, while the final stages of the struggle to defeat Sauron are told in The Hobbit and the The Lord of the Rings.

Interesting number, but the problem is lack of unity and the unawareness of going into Republicaqn primaries to clean out such useless members as Boehner, Cantor et al. And of course Myth Romney too.

We as Americans have had enough of the pure crap that is coming out of Washington. The last time I checked, the Federal government works for us, no the other way around. Let’s make something perfectly clear to all of the aspiring politicians out there, the United States Constitution clearly delineates exactly what you are responsible for in executing your duties as a public servant holding office. If such a politician decides to promote their self interests over the people who have employed (elected) them, then the said people reserve the right to kick their sorry asses to the curb.

In fact, the July 27 and August 2 polls showed a considerably smaller percentage of Americans saying they were Tea Party supporters than previous Gallup polls conducted over three- and four-day periods.

Ahhhh. It would be interesting to go back and see what sort of anti-Tea-Party stories were dominating the news on July 27 and August 2.

August 2nd was probably the day The Tea Party was being bashed for preventing a budget deal from being passed (even though they were numerically incapable of stopping it).

But, in the three or four days AFTER the budget deal was passed, it was said The Tea Party won a great victory.

So it makes sense that whoever commissioned this poll wouldn't want THAT sort of sentiment revealed in the results.

Notice how the percentage of Tea Party supporters drop after a media blitz demonizing them. Some people are still sensitive to other’s opinions of them, no matter how false. I believe that the 30% figure supporting Tea Party values is still there, many are just afraid to admit it publicly.

Yes, there are millions of folks out there who believe and think like the tea party, but don’t realize it yet, because they just don’t pay that much attention to current events.

But I wish the “tea party’ would change their name, because they are not a political party. The media is perpetuating the notion that they are some wild, crazy bunch of wierdos, when in fact they are perfectly normal, hard working people.
