Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) told MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Friday that the media has the responsibility to ignore the Tea Party and not give any credence to their views. Here's what he said:
SEN. JOHN KERRY: "And I have to tell you, I say this to you politely. The media in America has a bigger responsibility than it's exercising today. The media has got to to begin to not give equal time or equal balance to an absolutely absurd notion just because somebody asserts it or simply because somebody says something which everybody knows is not factual.
"It doesn't deserve the same credit as a legitimate idea about what you do. And the problem is everything is put into this tit-for-tat equal battle and America is losing any sense of what's real, of who's accountable, of who is not accountable, of who's real, who isn't, who's serious, who isn't?"

Imagine if we could afford to rent Lurch's lil' boat and host a TEA Party event on board.
“he’s advocating an unconstitutional Prior Restraint.
For the libs out there — A prior restraint is an official restriction of speech prior to publication. Prior restraint refers to an unconstitutional attempt to prevent publication or broadcast of any statement, which is restraint on free speech and free press prohibited by the First Amendment to the Constitution.
I understand what this goofball “says” is not an official restriction, but when fascist ideas like that take hold with the liberal elites in power, like Obama, then you’re only one executive order away from an official restriction — like the Fairness Doctrine. “

I remember back in 2007 when Hillary stirred up fake outrage by falsely accusing the Bush Administration of telling the press what to report. The Double-Standard of the Self-Anointed strikes again.
Agreed. No one in the MSM is pointing out Pelosi’s dribble the other day either.
“The media has got to to begin to not give equal time or equal balance to an absolutely absurd notion just because somebody asserts it or simply because somebody says something which everybody knows is not factual.”
The truth according to Kerry. Same ol’. Just like his ‘after action’ reports on his ‘Swift Boating’ heroics that he insisted on writing himself.
Good point, Kerry seems to just throw out words and hope a couple of them will connect and express something intelligible, usually he hopes in vain.
It burns me up that this fascist was almost president of the United States. We have got to take this nation back from the fools who voted for him and gave us Obama.
