Slightly better than expected on the private sector jobs, but with last months downward revision it's a wash. I'm wondering what the govt jobs report Friday is going to look like.
To: Free Vulcan
That’s over 2,000 jobs per state! wow
revision to come soon.
We’ve seen this movie before, revised numbers will be even less.
To: reaganator
with all of the states cutting their budgets, it makes sense.

Read this article on Yahoo Financial this morning. All of the responses to the article were the same. Everyone saw this article for what it is. Flat out propaganda. We live in interesting times, where the media lies, we know they lie and they know that we know.
To: Free Vulcan
That doesn’t reflect the uptick in layoffs, though. Friday’s jobs report will be interesting.

Yet more than 60K layoffs were announced in Julyand June's ADP number was 40,000 higher.
To: liberalh8ter
Even the resident Zer0 apologists at CNBC didn't pay much attention to the ADP numbers this AM

That's because they're still fixated on the big, shiny blank check we just handed Obama and they're positively giddy over his immediate announcement to blow some of it on social justice. They can't be bothered with trivial details about the fiscal outlook. IOW, stop being the Debbie downer at the Socialist party. LOL.
Hope and change.
To: reaganator
Thats over 2,000 jobs per state! wowYou're not quite correct:
114,000 new jobs divided by 57 states equals 2000 new jobs/state.
Where have you been? lol

“We live in interesting times, where the media lies, we know they lie and they know that we know.”
Orwellian, isn’t it??
Remember how George Bush’s 4.8% Unemployment, and +400,000 New Jobs a month was called the “WORST ECONOMY SINCE THE GREAT DEPRESSION!” by NAncy Pelosi and the media, in 2006?
