Rep. Emanuel Cleaver is the current leader of the Black Caucus (without black Republican members)I thought Rep. Allen West was going to join the Black Caucus and teach them a thing or two.

At least we can’t accuse polticians of fooling the people with their skillful oratory these days. Satan Sandwich? Sounds like a variation on the Dirty Sanchez. (NB: Do not google Dirty Sanchez.)

I agree. I must say, though, that “sugar-coated Satan sandwich” is one of the best zings I’ve heard in a long time.

Its too bad our side suffered from lack of sack. We had the ultimate bargaining chip. If nothing was passed the budget got balanced RIGHT NOW, not ten years from now. They could have sent over CCB and then taken a vacation.

IMHO, the Black Caucus, as with the NAACP, has long become an irrelevant joke. Radical extensions of a flawed social juctise agenda. =.=

Of course. The Bush tax cuts will expire at the end of 2012.Everyone is aware of this. Also the AMT will not be patched in 2012 making many middle class taxpayers’ taxes skyrocket.Everyone knew that too. Now if Boehner and the GOP want to make these into important issues the next year and a half they can.The Obama would have to run defending a general tax increase.
