After proposing a balanced budget amendment to the Reid bill and having it struck down, Sen. Rand Paul sat down with Don Lemon to explain what was happening on the floor and what compromises he was up for making. Lemon was in a curt mood, it seems, as weeks have gone by and the debt deadline looms with little to no visible progress occurring. The two had a contentious exchange as Sen. Paul tried to explain he did have the will to compromise when Lemon questioned what it would take.

What position is Rand Paul in to stop anything? Republicans don't control The Senate. And I highly doubt there are enough Rand Pauls to sustain a filibuster.

How many Republicans does Roid need to break a filibuster if there was one? We know Snowe, Collins, McCain and Graham wouldn't support it.

Why is Paul allowing himself to get sucked into being the fall guy?

There are 53 RATS in The Senate. All they need is 7 RINOs to break up a filibuster.

You got Snowe, Collins, McCain, Graham, Murkowski, Brown, Grassley, Lugar, and Hatch.

That's 9 RINOs. The Tea Party has NO POWER to stop anything in The Senate.

I'll bet he and Anderson Cooper chase each other around each other's desks all the time.

as Sen. Paul tried to explain he did have the will to compromise

Indeed, he is willing. He supported raising the debt ceiling $2.4 TRILLION dollars.

If that's the "Tea Party" it's the kind that comes with crumpets, not the kind that dumps all the damned stuff in the harbor.

During an on-air interview with members of Bishop Eddie Long’s congregation on September 25, 2010, Lemon said that he was a victim of sex abuse as a child, and that it wasn’t until he was thirty that he told his mother about it.

In his memoir, Transparent, released in May 2011, Lemon acknowledges publicly that he is gay and discusses colorism in the black community, racism, homophobia, and the sexual abuse that he suffered as a child.
Lemon lives in Atlanta, Georgia.

Why would any Conservative sit down with a bitter, angry Socialist/Racist queen like Don Lemon ?

It is truly a wonderful thing to be in control of the outcome and to see a liberal on the verge of hemorrhagic apoplexy....it does a body good! I like to make them turn incoherent and just spitting venom; their true souls out.

Lemon is just another ARROGANT SoB who is only interested in his self importance to “his” community. I suppose it just weewees him all up that he is not on the top of the arrogance meter.

And these idiots wonder why they are still falling in viewership? Keep it up Donnie, you will be among the first to suffer the most if the Won’s grand plan reaches fruition and then you will come crying to us. Our proper response sould be epitomized as the central character did in the movie “The Book of Eli” to those who did not get the message.

Senator Paul, the next time someone questions you on compromise, I suggest you reply “The Democrats can compromise whenever they want.” Stick to your guns and watch the surprise on their faces.

Lemon was unintentionally hilarious.

“We don’t want thoughts, we want feelings! Thoughts make my head hurt! Are you feeling what the American people are feeling? Feelings are much more important than actually doing anything! Quit thinking!”

...the :36 mark is a classic....when his panties fill with many CU.FT. of flatulence(causing momentary levitation)in reaction to his disgust towards her answer.
