Do you really think Moochelle would voluntarily give up taxpayer funded vacations and endless bowls of ice cream?
.......”In my opinion, the democrats and Obama still do not get it. They cannot fix the economy UNTIL they really cut spending. All rhetoric aside, their ideas will NOT get the country back on its feet.”.......
Do we believe as a lot here at FR that “THEY”, the Socialist-Democrats, THE RADICAL Left actually want to “get the country back on its feet”?
I don’t believe it for a minute. I believe Obama’s job, the job his handlers prepared him for is to destroy this Nation. Take us down to the level of the Third World.
NO MATTER WHAT we aren’t going to see change of any kind for the better until we are rid of Obama, his handlers, his radical associates, and we burn down every bridge the Left has built, is building to their tyranical NWO.
From now until election this man’s actions have to be stopped by the only warriors we have on the front, and that’s the House Republicans. We cannot allow this bastard more money by raising the debt ceiling to fund his radical direction.
We cannot allow him that win.
Where am I wrong? What am I missing?
Most surprising comments from Graham...he’s probaby going to vote AGAINST the Reid bill..guess he’s getting worried about 2014..also, he said that the majority of the GOP caucus in the HOuse will NOT vot for the bill, and that’s gonna be BIG trouble for Boehner..he did not run away from someone’s coment that it could cost Boehner his Speakership
Throughout this scenario WE have been on the people’s side.
Since when is Grahmansty such a Tea Party advocate? Running for election I guess.
Since when is Christeeeeen Ah-man So-poor worried about our military??HA!!
RE: Obama quitting. I don’t think that is going to happen.
He won’t go down without a fight.
There will be no challenger EXCEPT for the Republican nominee.
I will stand behind him/her, whoever that may be.
Anything else is MY ruin.
Woo hoo, Alas Babylon, you made me feel a lot better. I’ll be glad when the campaigns are underway and we have something to get excited about.
All we need is a good conservative candidate who can take the game to the dems and isn’t afraid to do so. Rubio made a wonderful talk on the floor of the House, interuppted by the loathsome Kerry, and Ryan did also. Either would make a great veep candidate with Palin.
Yeah, no problem, they will be making millions on the speaking circuit!
I believe you are right.
I also will stand behind the Rep candidate.
One thing not mentioned .....is what this all does to the driveby media in the eyes of the public. Their absolutely tarnished reputation is taking yet another nosedive.
I think Rush’s greatest gift to us have been his segments where he has a montage of many of the driveby’s using the exact same word to describe something eg. “tea-party holding congress hostage”.
Shows us day in and day out, that this drive by media is using “group think” and it is being run right out of the White House.
They have no credibility left at all.
Graham is actually talking more like a conservative on this. He has been consistent on this issue, from interviews in last few weeks.
We are always patted on the heads and told we must wait.
It gets old.
But it is the reality. Can you articulate any other way we win in the Senate?
Let Barry and Michelle have their millions from the talk show circuit and let them have a private jet as well.
Just get them the heck out of the white house.
Absolutely!! My post # 12! The Penny Plan authored by conservative rock stars Sen.Rand Paul and Rep.Connie Mack of Fla.and well promoted by Sean Hannity. What it does is stop the needless 7.5% yearly federal budget increases and instead cuts the budget a whopping 1%. Balances in 7-10 years! A perfect plan if it ever gets any traction.
Watching Claire McAskill:
I really admire any Republican who sits next to her on a tv show and does not smack her when she spews such whopping lies.
A couple of thoughts on this, AB.....1) I'm no longer convinced this makes any difference, given Obie's falling poll numbers and the certainty of a worsening economy. 2) Obie and the dems must think it's a losing issue for them in the election season, but the way pubbies have handled it this month, it's not a clear winner for us either.
It should be a clear winner for us, and can be with the Paul/Mack "penny plan" which is so clear and simple, America will gobsmack our collective foreheads and ask "Why didn't we do this before?"
re “the increasing emotionalism on this board and on others”...
Have to agree with you. Way too much of it going on.
You missed the smoke and mirrors part, where "Debt ceiling raised till PAST 2012" is claimed to not be so (even though it is), on account of that happening in two or more smaller stages, with the GOP being given the chance to vote against what they already approved.
We will likely have a named storm (Emily) this afternoon. If it doesn’t turn North at the backbone of Dominican Republic or get destroyed over the Hispaniola mountains, Florida may well have a storm to deal with. Definitely worth watching this week.
Exactly, same old pap, class warfare, pubbies pushing granny over the hill, all we need are more taxes not spending cuts. Hey, left wing A-holllls, tell it to Standard and Poors or Moodys.
They want solid budget cuts of 400 billion per year or we get downgraded.
