A couple of hours ago receive a hard knock on the door. I answered the door and about 7 or 8 agents all flashing badges (claiming to be FBI and/or CIA) rushed me and pushed me against the far wall.
My dog attacked and they would have shot him had I not broken free for a second and covered him by laying him on the floor beneath me.
After things calmed down a bit and I received assurances that nothing would happen to him if I placed him in the bedroom and closed the door.
I did so and they then read me my rights and explained that my opinions expressed on Free Republic were the reason they were there. I had expressed my opinion of what I thought of the current President and the majority in congress and was therefore a potential threat to the government. After what seemed to be hours they came to the conclusion (I hope) that I was merely expressing my opinion and not a leader of a counter revolutionary army - as they saw it.
They searched my apartment for weapons and found 4 (which I have not fired in over a year or more) and they seized them for testing. My dog (Ranger) was not happy with the situation so I had to hold on to him during the search to keep him from being shot.
They also seized my computer and downloaded my entire files system. I suppose they also copied any files erased by normal erasure techniques. They returned the computer as "WAS" (as far as I can tell) but I after careful consideration the past few hours I have concluded that they are monitoring me closely.
I'm not even sure this message will make it through but what else can I do but try?
If (Big IF!) this does make it through, beware. They are watching and may make a visit to your residence and give your the same routine.
It really shook me up and I have trouble keeping my nerves steady and my thoughts straight as I write this message.
Once this gets out (IF THIS GETS OUT) I can pretty much expect their return but this time they probably won't be quite as considerate of myself and my dog who they will probably shoot on sight.
I have packed my truck with essentials but I suspect that there are those that are watching so I may not make it to one of my favorite mountain camping sites.
There I will not have any communications except when I get into town and use WIFI to make any contact.

They have become serious about enforcing their new powers - and some of us might not make it.
I'll probably be #1 on their list.

I don’t believe that this guy ever got a visit from the CIA either, but I am experiencing some weird harassment that I believe is in retaliation for some of the political positions that I have taken.
I’ve been getting phone calls from a pre-paid cell phone that uses an auto-dialer at all hours, day and night. According to a detective that I consulted, the phone seems to be connected with a child prostitution ring.
Three weeks ago I changed my phone number and made it unlisted. Yesterday, the there was a call on my call log from the same cell phone to my new unlisted number. Someone is going to a lot of trouble to harass me and I believe that it is tied to my anti-union posts on FreeRepublic and other sites.
I’m thinking of just reporting the possible child prostitution links, because the person never says anything to me except wrong number.
Hope not. My gut is telling me the best is yet to come on this thread. :)
If you can get a police report and determine which pre-paid cell provider services the offender’s phone, they should at least be able to to disable that number. Then if it starts again with a different cell phone, you’ll know for sure that you need to take serious steps to protect yourself.

I was able to find out who the cell provider is. That’s not difficult. It’s the idea that someone went to a whole lot of trouble to find out my new number and then add me to the list of calls from this number.
At first I thought that they might be trying to get me to respond and call the number back so that they could claim that I was involved with child prostitution, but that seems a little far fetched. I really thing that the calls are a form of intimidation for my very vocal opposition to a big project that is being pushed by the highest levels of the Democrat party through the unions, a coal terminal about three miles from house. I have also made posts regarding the fact that the CIO once tried to murder my grandfather because they didn’t want him to serve as the president of the local at RCA.
Before I read the posts, I call complete and utter BS. Your last post was just over 30 minutes prior to this.
I also predict that some gullible Freepers will by your crap.

You can say that again. I'm pinging the keeper of the canine ping list since this is the first opusthreadmagic I've ever seen on FR that involved a dog. Dude, the guy was pinned to a wall by six, SIX!, FBI and CIA guys, and he marshalled superhuman powers to fight them all off so he could protect his dog. *sniff* brings a tear to my eye, it does.
I saw Ash over at Fox News comments section. He’s mixing it up with conservatives over there. We traded pleasantries; there’s no mail over there so it was on a thread.
Someone very creative got on his computer I suspect. I picture a teenage son about 17; who doesn't feel real warm to his dad!!
It would be pretty easy to do!
