A couple of hours ago receive a hard knock on the door. I answered the door and about 7 or 8 agents all flashing badges (claiming to be FBI and/or CIA) rushed me and pushed me against the far wall.
My dog attacked and they would have shot him had I not broken free for a second and covered him by laying him on the floor beneath me.
After things calmed down a bit and I received assurances that nothing would happen to him if I placed him in the bedroom and closed the door.
I did so and they then read me my rights and explained that my opinions expressed on Free Republic were the reason they were there. I had expressed my opinion of what I thought of the current President and the majority in congress and was therefore a potential threat to the government. After what seemed to be hours they came to the conclusion (I hope) that I was merely expressing my opinion and not a leader of a counter revolutionary army - as they saw it.
They searched my apartment for weapons and found 4 (which I have not fired in over a year or more) and they seized them for testing. My dog (Ranger) was not happy with the situation so I had to hold on to him during the search to keep him from being shot.
They also seized my computer and downloaded my entire files system. I suppose they also copied any files erased by normal erasure techniques. They returned the computer as "WAS" (as far as I can tell) but I after careful consideration the past few hours I have concluded that they are monitoring me closely.
I'm not even sure this message will make it through but what else can I do but try?
If (Big IF!) this does make it through, beware. They are watching and may make a visit to your residence and give your the same routine.
It really shook me up and I have trouble keeping my nerves steady and my thoughts straight as I write this message.
Once this gets out (IF THIS GETS OUT) I can pretty much expect their return but this time they probably won't be quite as considerate of myself and my dog who they will probably shoot on sight.
I have packed my truck with essentials but I suspect that there are those that are watching so I may not make it to one of my favorite mountain camping sites.
There I will not have any communications except when I get into town and use WIFI to make any contact.

They have become serious about enforcing their new powers - and some of us might not make it.

This seems more like a hack job to me. Some wacky liberal seeing galt’s posts, hacked and played havoc with his account. galt may not even know it yet. Maybe he made his last post and went out for the evening.

No, Chief’s murder was never solved. He was really a great guy and the whole thing was a botched investigation.
Now I can't tell from reading the posts if he means this or not..and I don't know this poster..so yea..they don't look all that great. And if I were monitoring this site..I would wonder about those comments.

I was looking at the “in forum” history and got about 3-4 pages, but had it set to “articles” instead of “comments”.
Not sure how that works, because “articles” gave me results that were only comments to others’ articles, and not original article posts.
Well, if some moonbat relative of mine (which is few) did that, I would at least clarify and rectify the problem.
Getting a visit from MIB and then posting about it certainly isn’t a position of fear. It is blatantly corrupt or just bonkers.

I reviewed some of your posting history and you definitely appeared to be supporting a violent response to the scum in DC. I have a feeling the feds have their hands full trying to protect that floating turd in the White House since Ubama is as brazen a communist as has ever been in a real position of power in the US and most people know it.
Fortunately, that stinking piece of communist sh!+ has only about fifteen more months before he is a lame duck president and two more months after that before he makes that final swirl down the flushing toilet. Believe me, decent Americans from coast to coast will frantically keep pressing the toilet handle just to make sure he’s gone.
If there’s one thing about our American system it’s that there is always another election. ...Which is why it is hyper critical that laws be passed to ensure fair and fraud-free elections. There has lately been a lot of progress in this regard as the Democrats have been beaten back, and laws to protect the integrity of the election process are being passed in a lot of states.
Good luck to you, but I recommend cooling it on the violent overthrow stuff. It is a little scary, though, that the feds not only monitor FR but that they were able to track you down. By the way, you are not the first freeper to be visited by the feds. I remember a couple of others here getting friendly visits from the Secret Service.
