Demint is great, but is a purist in this. Hatch, Vitter, Graham are all up for re-election I believe and are trying to appear conservative. They are turds.
My Senator Paul (KY) is a purist also. He is sticking to his guns and making me proud of him!

What the ‘three amigo slugs’ are doing is trying to appear vital to holding back the democrat debacle. Hatch and Graham in particular are pretend conservatives. They want to appear crucial as votes to oppose the Reid kleptocracy, but they don’t actually try to stop heinous Harry, especially when Reid buys them off or someone threatens to out them.
Vitter was reelected in 2010 with 57% of the vote and has always been an extremely reliable Conservative vote.
Graham was reelected in 2008 and sometimes supports Conservative principles.
Hatch IS actually up for reelection and, though he used to be reliably Conservative, he has in his later years been a squish on many issues, having become BFF with Teddy Kennedy. He actually IS trying to APPEAR Conservative.
